Sure. What's so strange about that? Michele Val Jean, Mary Sue Price, Tracey Thomson, Karen Harris, Susan Wald - what more could you want? Of course, there was also the eternal hope that, hey, a miracle might happen and the show would make sense. It hasn't happened yet. I watch various things for various reasons.

Well, you might not believe it, but... Don't forget about the hope. It served me quite a lot, believe me, to see how these people write their scripts.

If R Sinclair comes to this board any time soon, I'd like him to remind me about his thoughts on Joanna Cohen. :P

Here's more proof that the Bell's are actively involved with Y&R again. According to the recent SOD, there was a interview with Lauralee Bell and she said she was asked to come back for a visit on Y&R by her MOTHER. However, she had to back-out because of prior commitments, but said she'd be more than willing to come back when her schedule allows. Anyway, I find it interesting that Lee Phillip Bell seems to be more actively involved in Y&R than we initially thought.

Hee.

Who else thinks Lee Philip Bell was the one who "persuaded" Sony not to renew LML's contract?

I mean, I know I'm just projecting here, but I can't shake this image in my head of Lee, barging into Steve Kent's office all Stephanie Forrester-like, and telling him, "That woman returns to my husband's show over my dead body!"

First of all I LIKE Bell style dialog. It's artificial and theatrical and, in my view, sublime. Bring back all the Bell writers! At least with Bell style dialog when characters get mad they really let their language get salty. Remember when Katherine would call Jill a whore and a slut and a bitch in rapid fire succession? Those were the days. I really like the Bell style, it's nearly Shakespearean in how dramatic it all is. Delicious.

Next...very interesting about Lee Phillip Bell asking Lauralee to appear. Very interesting. I wouldn't put it past her being the one who swung the ax on LML, nobody else had the balls to do it! I also agree that she probably IS Stephanie Forrester incarnate (which makes me love her even more!)...there was always something Lee Phillip Bell -esque about the way Stephanie looked till Susan Flannery cut her hair. After all, Bell Phillip Television is HER company. She's the Phillip...and I have the distinct impression that there is respect in the Bell family, what Mother Bell says GOES and yes that also applies to Steve Kent and Barbara Bloom.
