I have loved rain1's posts, but the news that JHC could be going to Y&R as EP makes me hope and pray he is wrong. LML was a friend of Bloom's from Port Charles, so is Carrathers. Both are horrible and JHC has brought AMC into the gutter. If you're going to promote someone, look where they were and who they worked with. Her bringing all her floptastic friends from canceled shows isn't going to help save Y&R.

It makes me sad to think so many talented people are out there being wasted. Why her? It makes me sad to think that Ed Scott is being wasted on DAYS with Ken Corday and Dena Higley. I could see him instantly restore Y&R back to it's former glory, even if his hands are tied with the writing situation.

With news like this, I'm having even less hope about Hogan.

It makes me sad too. DAYS/Higley is wasting Ed Scott's talent! I would love to see Ed reunite with Hogan at Y&R since Ed's contract is coming up (I think it's in August since that's when he first started). But of course it's not going to happen.

Someone helped me out, so I just posted what they told me. ;)

I don't think Julie will make the move to Y&R, for the simple fact she knows she has long-term job security at AMC. I think Bloom is looking for possible new EP's, Julie was just one of the people Bloom talked to regarding the position.

However, make no mistake, Y&R's next EP will be a friend of Bloom's, there's no escaping that. That's why I'm hoping we get a Wendy Riche or Shelley Curtis, they might not have been apart of the old Y&R, but they're talented.

Look at the type of people she's brought on so far: Lynn Marie Latham, Scott Hamner (who is back giving magazine interviews btw) and now looking at JHC. I hope in the end she comes to her senses, but that is doubtful. Back to Hamner, he was saying in SID how disappointing it is to have such few Abbott's on the show. I guess he thinks we forgot that he was a major part of that. And I'm sorry, but there are more Abbott's and Chancellor's than Ashley and Cane. Traci, Billy, Keemo, Colleen, Billy, Dina, Brock, Mackenzie and many more forgotten characters. If he's disappointed in the lack of Abbott's, why hasn't his sorry ass done more to get them back on the show? Ugh! I'm so frustrated with Y&R. I wish Jess Walton would join B&B as Beth Logan so I can give up this bad habit.

Scott Hamner needs to be fired like yesterday. He really has no shame, after being demoted and losing his BFF, he continues to want hack up the show? WTF?

Of course, Maria is the bigger dumbass, since she refuses to get rid of a lot of these people. Then again, she needs to go as well, so...

So what does it mean that they were demoted? Is that them eliminating the Breakdown position? Would we now be seeing them compete for script writing slots before the axe swings? I must say, I'm happy to see Brash demoted. I will forever hate him after he turned down my well thought out question for his ITZ interview. IMO, a person with integrity would be able to defend their work. All I asked was why viewers should look forward to their return post strike. Judging by how much worse the show is now, I see why he'd dodge the question. If he or Tom Casiello or anyone else thinks Jean Passanante, Leah Laiman and other hacks are good writers, give me specific reasons why? Not "Oh gosh, I got my first break" or "They're my current employer." What story did Passanante or Laiman write that blew you away?
