 What kind of a trite tagline is that?!

However, this woman definitely does not know who to hire. What is this?! A farce!! (There I go again with my pet goldfish word.)

Just a mindless joke re: the goldifish post.

Dude... lighten up! Just cracking lame jokes. :D

(You know I love you, Sylph. There's NOBODY else I'd rather debate the finer points of writing with. You are SO the Superman to my Lex Luthor... as long as we both agree on Dena Higley and Megan McTavish, I'm happy to argue with you about anything else you wish. :) )

You know how much I love you, too, brimike! I just wanted to emphasise how you could come up with a much more funny and provoking tagline. :P So my tone was light, only I disguised it into a more menacing one. :D

And we definitely agree on Dena and McTrash.

I didn't you were the judge of all jokes. :P

Note to self: Must ask Sylph if joke is funny before I post because I fear it being lame or trite.

I like to be harsh on brimike and to joke around with him. He knows I mean no harm and that I'm never serious and threatening, arrogant and stuck up in my posts.

Well... serious, threatening, arrogant and stuck up?

Maybe.

But harmless?

DEFINITELY.

:D

ETA: Toups, don't delete me! I'm kidding!!!!!! :-)

    • GET THAT HEFFA, NOSY NURSE!!!   I'm sorry to see Smitty and June coming to a middle ground. It seem like that tension would be between them for at least one more story arc. A writing change?   I'm sorry but I love the teen unit of Ty, Samantha, and Jessica (and Rocco, Danny, Charlotte over on GH which is what today is reminding me of). I'm a sucker for soap teens. lol.
    • I really hope Laura doesn’t get reelected. She doesn’t deserve it. Imagine her campaign staff, freaking out at the Metro Court as election results come in while she’s hanging out with Sonny.
    • Thanks for that. It was great to see her in an interview. She's very likable. Although it was somewhat confusing. What new soap is she talking about going on audition for in 1973. Was it The Young and the Restless? Is it just me or did they never even say the name of this soap opera? Days wasn't new in 1973 and there was no "Jack" with three daughters on The Young and the Restless. What soap are they talking about? The editing around that part was weird and choppy. I felt like there was a chunk missing or something. And I'm not sure why she was saying she got colorectal cancer from HPV and said it's because she never got the HPV vaccine but then said she's never had anal sex. I'm not a doctor but that didn't seem to make any medical sense. I don't know. Maybe I'm tired. It just seemed like some of this interview didn't make sense.
    • If it helps any, the last script cover from the Elman papers that I have is from episode #3,736 airdate November 15, 1977. Writers are the Hollands with Frank Salisbury.
    • B&B really does look incredible. The lighting and the polished sets have made a significant difference how visually appealing the show is now.
    • I found the problem with the Labine era was that the show lost some humour when the Labines came on and it could be dull. They also didn't seem to understand some of the characters. As others have said, it looks fantastic in comparison to the next regime but I just remember boredom being the primary response.
    • Something I didn't realize: Frank Ashmore, who played Monica's investigator Corrigan in 1981, was also Victor, the third guy in the cockpit, in Airplane!
    • Thanks, maybe I will skim through those episodes.  I have previously binged late 1985 through early 1987; April-June, August 1992 (I skipped Carlo Hesser murder trial), Jan-March 1995 and I began watching in 2006. I just struggle to stay consistent with routines especially binging routines haha
    • I could've sworn we went over the Bobbie thing a while ago, and saw her introduced to Rick and Lesley as "Nurse Barbara" in very late '77? Or was that early '78? I know the clip is online. Jackie always credited Marland with creating her IIRC.
    • Thanks.  Loon Lake - very on the nose. With that "dad" outfit Bo looks even more like Cassie's father...
