Dona might have been in that position before, but she hasn't recently.

I don't remember any announcements saying she took a downgrade. So she went from VP of programming under Shapiro to Frons "right hand person"?

I can't find her bio.

I'm pretty sure Rain said she was Frons' right hand person, not VP of Daytime.

There is no official bio because officially she is not there.

Look here and here.

The one I want to see the most (and probably most of us)

-Brian Frons fired as ABC Daytime President

Under its current structure Sue Johnson is the closest thing to a VP of ABC Daytime, although I think the official position was elimianted when Felicia Behr left. Johnson is VP of talent development (BTW does anyone know if ABC still has a writer development program?) but is also program director for AMC and OLTL. Titles aside, I'm pretty sure she took over most of Behr's duties (at least those Frons was willing to let someone else have).

Any role Dona Cooper had would have been non-official, I'm pretty sure she is a teacher now. At least she was because I know someone who had her as a teacher at a screenwriting school in North Carolina.

" She used to be V.P. of Daytime at ABC (or something like that), then "left" (i.e., she was fired) to go teach screenwriting at the North Carolina School of the Arts. She's been "consulting" on AMC and OLTL for the past 8 years or so "

Did she suck as a teacher, too?

Lol actually no, I heard good things about her. I'm sure outside of the House of Mouse alot of people are alot more talented than we'd think.

 I guess!

However, I wonder who will be replacing her...

Jill Farren Phelps!!

And more interestingly - who are these other people that are "consulting"?

I have to give Phelps props for once. I have three weeks of OLTL from 1998 and the show is amazingly produced at this time. The sets, lighting, music, etc. are all fantastic. The stories (Claire Labine at the time) are painfully dull which is odd considering Claire's GH and RH were never dull. Could someone who watched the show during this time, what were Claire's best and worst stories? I have seen Todd's parrot btw. He doesn't bother me because he hasn't spoke yet. He's just there as a pet in the episodes I've seen so far.

For GL fans, what was the best and worst for her there? From articles I've read, I don't blame her for that failure. Apparently there were very public disagreements over the format of the show. I read one article that said she was fired for two weeks, then rehired. Has that ever been done?

Rain, if you have any details on these stints, I'd love to know what went wrong!

I didn't watch GL back then, but I know that a lot of fans were very angry with her for killing off Maureen Bauer.
