Dorian is crazy! Nora has been trying to come between her and Clint since they got together? Someone needs to smack some sense into her

Jared pretenidng to be the Buch son is a rehash of the old David pretending to be teh Lord son story. Jared cant be with Nat bc they are blood related just like David couldnt be with Tina bc they were blood related, all while fighting their attraction. Jared will have to choose between the money or the woman. Same story, jsut different players

I am still loving the show but I agree this fake Buchanen son story seems to have been played SOOOOOOOOOO many times before inthe past 15 years alone that I have zero interest. (And Nigel handing over the envelope THAT easily? Wouldn't he just try to convince peopel Jared was lieing first or something?)

I had one WTF moment today tho in the opening scene with Marty and Cole. Cole says something like "Man I really hate this place"--refering to the inside of his cell and Marty says "Your father would REALLY be  upset to hear you say that" as a sort of reprimand. WHAT?

I loved the Viki and Charlie scenes, I think they were my favorite. But over all I enjoyed the entire show, nothing I wanted to FF.

Really enjoyed the Antonio and Talia scenes, they are really enjoyable together.

The end with Viki and David was great and I cannot wait to see what happens tomorrow.

My fav scenes today - 11/27- were between Nora/Clint.

David hit the nail on the head when he called them on their kiss - said that it woud not have happened unless they both wanted it since they ae the types of people to think everything through.

At the end when they shook hands on their agreement to continue living in the house together , it was obvious that Nora has feelings for Clint. He was harder to read but if the kiss made him consider moving out, he must be on his way to realizing they are much more than friends. Due to Bo, he will probably deny his feelings for a while.

    • Thursday & Friday's episodes were excellent. The build-up was most definitely worth the wait (2 months). TMG, I can't give her enough accolades. AM, was also absolutely incredible. I think the fallout is going to have a ripple effect. The little clues that have been dropped,  hopefully, will weave seamlessly to reveal even bigger bombshells for the Dupree's and Martin.
    • Thanks, msn drives me nuts on the one hand but on the other hand their headlines appeal to me. And, I just don't do FoxNews.  She is trolling this thread.
    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archived copy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
    • Question: Jon-Michael Reed's review of 1977 is up in the retro soap section.  It includes a fleeting reference to comedic scenes between Jeanne Cooper and Julianna McCarthy regarding “Kay's would-be beau, Ralph the Plumber”.  Could someone please fill me in will more details? I forgot that Kay and Liz were friendly before Jill stole Kay's husband.  And the thought of Liz playing a comedic scene blows my mind, because I only recall her being dour both in demeanor and wardrobe.
    • I said this on Twitter on Friday when Leslie mentioned Chicago, so perhaps she might be related to one of Anita's bandmates. In addition, Leslie did say she grew up listening to The Articulettes too.
    • There was a scene in the past week or two with Leslie looking at some papers and mementos, which included an invitation or souvenir from Alan's memorial service or funeral -- it was dated as November 2024. Me just guessing but it seems to me that Martin's nightmares about the accident are from something longer ago than November.
    • ah thanks! do you know who the third one was in the blonde? the fifth one i know ive seen before in the brown wig but i forgot, and then ive never seen the psychic one before lol
