I don't think she's back for long, just for the David is the missing Buchanan storyline. I doubt Frons would okay another over 40 long term female contract, and without Asa, Alex is rather pointless.

I am usually not a fan of Alex's but if they let her keep getting on Dorian's case, then I can stand to watch her. LOL

IMO she should stick around just to be a thorn in Dorian's side and to give her REAL competition for David. Cause you know Dorian will want him back if she felt there was someone who could actually be a REAL rival to her for David ;)

I love Alex and wish she would stay in Llanview for awhile. And just wait, while she may not give Dorian a run for her money, she will do something else on her way out of town.

I agree that she's probably not gonna be with us for long, but I am not sure that Alex is pointless without Asa. Alex was a front burner character for 4 years before she married Asa in 1994. Alex is canny and wily enough to carve out a niche in Llanview without Asa. There would just have to be a desire on the part on the show to have her do that.
