I LOVE OLTL this month. It has just been incredible. Marcie hiding Paris, Texas with Tommy and Gigi is helping her, who works with Viki, and if Marcie finds out Viki's there...and the commercials with Todd/Blair showing up down there. Also all the twists & turns with Asa's will and how every family member is going to be in the B.E. business, Marty/Cole going missing.. not to mention Charlie/Viki and Charlie looking for his long, lost son (Nash, Jared, Rex..who knows!) This couldn't be written better. Incredible stuff.

I just want more Talia/Antonio!!

I love the Texas adventure. It's sprawling, epic stuff for a soap and it's getting better by the day. SOMEONE is bound to find Viki there, and I'll venture to guess it's gonna be the Buchanans.

What I am really excited for, though, is when the show finds its way back to Llanview. Viki will most likely bring along Charlie and Gigi, Marcie will be found out, the Buchanans will deal with David being one of them... soap gold.

And bring on Antonio/Talia!!!

Oh gosh, talk about comedy today on One Life. It was so much fun watching Viki ALMOST get busted by Dorian, David and Alex. Viki had me laughing so much, then holding my breath, wondering if she was going to get caught. Great job by all in those scenes. I bet they had a ball taping that, so much fun.

Enjoyed the Tonio and Cris scenes, and later Cris with Michael was pretty good.

Not enjoying John and his Miles hate, hell I'm not liking John getting all worried over Marty.

And I'm sorry but someone needs to tell Kristen that she whines when she delivers her lines, and its annoying as all get out.

Another great show, I thought.

That or the "Best Soap that You're Not Watching". The last soap to get that title was GL in 2004.

Caught the last 30 minutes of today's show.

LMAO at Dorian's smelling that scent. What's his name,,,Mo? Mo and Dorian could make quite the couple.

Yay David, Alex, and Dorian are in Texas.

Great show today.

Can the Buchanans just stay in Texas? I am loving the family interaction, especially the simple moments of just talking to and teasing each other. Of course, I can't wait for Alex, David and Dorian to crash the party tomorrow!

How I have missed the light moments and the comedy that OLTL has been dishing up lately!

    • No. Ruth had an extramarital affair with David while married to Joe.
    • I'm not sure I agree with Bernstein's children on that. Bernstein's life and activism here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonard_Bernstein#Social_activism_and_humanitarian_efforts
    • Thursday & Friday's episodes were excellent. The build-up was most definitely worth the wait (2 months). TMG, I can't give her enough accolades. AM, was also absolutely incredible. I think the fallout is going to have a ripple effect. The little clues that have been dropped,  hopefully, will weave seamlessly to reveal even bigger bombshells for the Dupree's and Martin.
    • Thanks, msn drives me nuts on the one hand but on the other hand their headlines appeal to me. And, I just don't do FoxNews.
    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archived copy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
    • Question: Jon-Michael Reed's review of 1977 is up in the retro soap section.  It includes a fleeting reference to comedic scenes between Jeanne Cooper and Julianna McCarthy regarding “Kay's would-be beau, Ralph the Plumber”.  Could someone please fill me in will more details? I forgot that Kay and Liz were friendly before Jill stole Kay's husband.  And the thought of Liz playing a comedic scene blows my mind, because I only recall her being dour both in demeanor and wardrobe.
    • I said this on Twitter on Friday when Leslie mentioned Chicago, so perhaps she might be related to one of Anita's bandmates. In addition, Leslie did say she grew up listening to The Articulettes too.
