TV Guide reports that Justin Bruening has been cast to play the son of the character Micheal Knight (not the actor which he played on AMC) in a new version of the popular 80's series Knight Rider. It will be a two hour tv movie which will also serve as a backdoor pilot for NBC if it is a success.

Either justin got some dramatic acting lessons from his time off from amc or someone got casted for their looks. Because justin was no where near ready to be on a primetime show yet alone the star of the show.

I disagree, I think Justin Breuning is a good actor.

To each there own, but I don't think many amc fans would agree with that. Majority of amc fans weren't sad to see him go.

The critics trashed this so badly. But it did well in the ratings. I think it averaged nearly 13 million viewers. I would be surprised if NBC doesn't make a serious out of this. It's almost as popular as the television show Heroes.
