I was thinking the same thing to with the bi-polar thing. The comment that he would "boom! just explode" and become violent and then the fact that it is now reported he was an emotional wreck over last week on set and exloded their just sound like a lot of bi-polar stories I have heard.

"He is definitely going to lose his job. They've given him chance after chance after chance," said Carolyn Hinsey, editor of Soap Opera Weekly and a soap opera columnist for The News.>>>

Who asked for Fatsey the b1tch's opinion? She should still be lucky to have a job over her crass comments about Jax and the rape on GH. Then again, she would have already been fired under me since she has not one iota of talent in writing opinion columns.

They need to interview someone competent for this article....like maybe talk to someone from OLTL.

Same here but let's hope it's not in a mental hospital...that can do more harm than good. I prefer he see a doctor on an outpatient basis and get medicated on the right stuff and seeks anger management classes. Being someone who has taken AM classes, they help a lot (in my opinion, everyone in the world should take AM courses).

Yea but the thing is, as an actor, you tend to be out of character when you are done for the day....very few actors actually stay in character all the time and play the role as written and hopefully execute it well. You are taught as an actor for certain scenes to go back to a time in your life when what happened in the film or show happened to you...once you stir up those memories and feelings, play it for the scene or scenes but then they usually go away. There are some exceptions like with GH's Maurice Benard. He would come home after working as "Sonny" and would actually "be Sonny" at home but then again there was a reason behind that...the bipolar disorder.

I think opinon columns are supposed to set off a fire storm. If they just wrote I like this it would be boring. What other columns in SOD are talked about as much as her's and I'm betting she gets the most mail out of this which probably equates into them keeping her around. She unfortuntely sells mags for them. Stop reading her column and writing in letters and they will see no use for her anymore.

Either...

1) Marston is fired and Valentini hires an emergency recast to finish out the current storyline (which will likely be truncated now to accommodate this real-life turn of events);

Or...

2) Marston is fired, there is NO recast, and Carlivati has to pen a hasty (and probably very unsatisfying) exit for Michael McBain.

But, mark my words, Marston WILL be fired. I don't think ABCD has any other choice.

Am I sorry to see this happen? Of course. If he needs help (and clearly, lol, he does), then I pray he gets it. But, the truth is, he had his chance, and he blew it.

Sorry I watch my tone for myself and myself only...you may have meant it to be a joke but, to me, it was not funny and I find a lot of things funny.

Agree to disagree. I think you are a cool person and all but I guess when it comes to this thread, we are on opposite ends of the spectrum

They obviously do not sell as much if they cannot afford to put their official awards ceremonies on major channels like ABC, CBS, and NBC..in fact, did they even have one this year? I don't think they did. Sure opinion columns set off storms but usually the controversy associated with them is done in good taste. Fatsey's comments are low class and show her as being someone who has none. With regards to her columns, I only read the snippets about AMC and that is it...the GH issue with Jax and the rape I only learned about from reading message boards like this one since I don't watch GH anymore and I felt someone had to bring it to her attention...but I have had three letters of mine printed in her column so three is a crowd and no more letter writing :)

Its about to be a WHAT!? GIRLFIGHT!

Anyways I feel bad for the guy but at the same time he deserves to lose his job. I hope he gets the help he needs.

Clearly something is messed up with him

And oh yeah theres this thing called free will. It means we can ALL have opinions and voice them. You may not like CH (I don't read her stuff so I can't comment on how good or not so good it is) but she has as much a right to talk about this actor as much as anyone here I think.

Did these guys PROVOKE him or did he just randomly blow up at them?

    • His (adoptive) nieces.  Chelsea and Stephanie.  I think Abby was involved too, but I am not sure if they are related lol.
    • That was such a dark story. I never liked Swamp girl after that. And then the dating your cousin thing. I think wasn’t Max in a triangle with two of his cousins?
    • Thank you, @j swift.  I'm probably more sympathetic to Draper Scott than most audience members are -- even though I'm absolutely CRAZY about Ann Williams & her bizarre Margo Huntington character

The more I watch these episodes -- and I've watched several of them a zillion times, I'm ashamed to admit -- you realize there's a WHOLE lot of passive-aggressive hostility brewing inside Margo Huntington about Draper.  She wants to take April AWAY from him and recreate the childhood that she never got to experience with April, because of the adoption 25 years ago.  Draper has sense enough to realize how heartless and vindictive Margo really is about other people's lives and their feelings, but he bites his tongue rather than poison his wife's mind about how horrible her mother really is.  And I admire him for that.  He's a sweet boy.
    • Unfortunately, as the 90s wore on, Felicia started wearing as many gray and neutral tones as Giorgio Armani and Donna Karan could produce, and the shoulder pads deflated to a drop sleeve.
    • I think Dante is reacting how most parents would react.
    • 5-2   Lord... At least the week started off well...I think. I don't know where to start.   Oh, yes, I do. It was mostly background noise to me. There was nothing to the majority of the characters that were on. Meaning, it was mostly characters that I didn't care for or I've gotten accustomed to just FF-ing through. Or just zoning out. Even the possibility that Michael and Lauren might have a story was just meh simply because we have done this dance before and Lauren was coming across like Michael was working for Sonny on GH the mob.   The biggest thing I really took away from last week was that the new costumer designer has stepped up her game again. It didn't bother me at all, but I wish there was some drama with this fashion. I liked Claire's outfit, LOVE Nikki's. And I continue to like brighter colors on Nick though I hated those pants. And I could go on about the clothes misses like Billy in that short sleeeve, but I digress.   The only things that held my interest...   THE SICKENING OF COLE. As soon as he started to cough, I went uh oh. I'm happy to see he might be getting a story. And I guess it shows how much history I have with the character that I care. But still...ugh.   ALL THINGS AUDRA. I admit that I was taken aback to see Victor with her at Crimson Lights. When was the last time he was there? I want to say recently with Kyle/Claire, but otherwise I still found the scene taking me aback. But I like her being soft with Kyle who actually came across annoyingly flirty for someone that hates Audra. I actually can't wait for him to eat crow. And since Audra is now being used to drive a wedge between Kyle and Claire, I have to talk about...   SUMMER'S EXIT. Mmmm...mixed feelings. It don't seem half as bad as others appear to see it. Yes, if I didn't have the context, it still seem odd that her part in the Kyle/Claire drama was barely touched on. And she interacted with everyone I felt she should interact with. But in the overall context...I still didn't mind the exit. Though it was abrupt.    I did like hearing that Noah and Allie are still together. And don't get me started on the offscreen Mariah drama.
    • I'm sure old Reva/Josh fans saw the writing on the wall--and this was their pattern. They (or usually Josh) was so angry that they'd spend months yelling at each other, and then "boom", they were macking up on each other, regardless of who else they were entangled with. (This is the couple who slept together under HB's roof while Reva was married to him, after all.) "Always". *gag me*
    • I don't think we've seen the last of Erica Kane. That's something I will continue believing in.
    • You are the best!!!! That is a remarkable talent, to not just summarize, but contextualize Draper's dilemma!  It is delightful to be able to think of that situation in a new way. - Thank you

I was pondering Lee Godart's accent, because it was so dreamy.  It made me think he would've been perfectly cast as Victor Newman's brother on Y&R.  American's have a hard time distinguishing European accents.  And, good news, before I hit reply, I went and confirmed the actor is still alive.
    • Has anyone even told Gio that Sonny once shot Dante?
