Right, I just meant that even as a hypothetical I wouldn't feel positive about it. I don't really expect anyone else at Days, didn't KC break the bank for Sheffer?

Apparently, and he's still paying off JER, as Toupsy stated earlier in this thread.

This is all right on IMHO though I don't agree with all of the opinions. LML is incredibly powerful right now as is Frons even if we don't like it.

How did LML get that kind of power from the Bells?

She got that power from the idiots at Sony (Steven Kent), with Barbara Bloom's reassurance.

Tell me more, how is Sony or Bloom involved? I've always wanted to hear this story. I don't understand the power structure behind who has final say on Y&R.

Jake and Van being on the list is RIDONCULOUS.
actually the list is for the most Influential people, not powerful. Based on that, then it would make a bit of sense why they are on the list bc the gay storyline is influential. They themselves though arent powerful

I'm sure with great influence, comes great power. They can virtually go hand and hand. Exceptions apply, of course.

Hi Susan Lucci? At least more so than the hot gay dudes from ATWT.

why so susan lucci? how is she more powerful or have more infulance than anyone on this list? including the "hot gay dudes"?

because i do see ATWT getting pimped out on Perez Hiltons blog, i see them oin ET and other news programs, i hear about that storyline on the news... and right now no one else in daytime is getting that kind of press.

Also, Lucci in no way has ever exercised her power in anyway on AMC. She's not very outspoken, even when AMC is in its worst condition. She has the power to make change happen, but she refuses to use it. Oh well, it's just the way she is.

I'm not sure that's real power. Just a couple of months ago Eden Riegel and Jeff Carlson were getting that kind of press with the transgender story. They were on all sorts of media. Though I think it's great ATWT is doing the story and wish AMC had been as gutsy, that's not what I would call power. Susan is at least very recognizable.
