Members stenbeck212
There's nothing like BarBar throwing her weight around.
Members winterguy125
Only good parts of the show today were Babs and Iris, and Meg getting hit over the head. Previews looked great. I am going to scream it from the roof tops MEG CAN'T HAVE KIDS so why is Craig and Meg talking like she can?
Members P.J.
I frackin' LOVE Iris' new haircut!! (on a shallow note....) I loved seeing Babs, but damn, do they HAVE to showcase her as Gwennie's handmaiden? I did love that talk she had with Ali though. Loved the Carly/Ro/Paul (lol...that kiss that Paulie gave her was the only thing that tipped Carly off he knew she was dying?) and the Carly/Parker/Jack stuff. I know it's soapy, and it's got a few dozen gaping plot holes, but damn, it gets me all the time. Jack's been a jerk, but when he settled in beside her on the couch as she cried... How stupid are Craig and Ro, suddenly using Al's as their rendevous hangout? And on a shallow note, that dress Cady had on was horrid.
Members danthig
I loved Barbara making trouble today.I loved her being nice with Gwen, but when Gwen leaves Barbara turns psycho mean on Allison. It reminded of The Barbara during the time Hogan Sheffer was writing ATWT.There's nothing like Barbara going psycho. There is no such thing in soap opera land that the female characters cannot physically have kids unless they have a hysterectomy like Rosanna. For crying out loud Meg was getting ready to take birth control while her & Craig were making love.Talking from logic,I would think if a woman is told she can't have kids taking the Pill wouldn't be necessary unless she thinks there is possibility of her getting pregnant. There have been female characters up to the present that have been told they couldn't give birth or ever get pregnant again but yet they got pregnant and/or given birth. Here's my list of characters proving my point: Skye Quartermaine(GH) Courtney Matthews Jacks(GH) Dixie Cooney Martin(AMC) Maria Santos Grey(AMC) Hayley Vaughn Santos(AMC) Trisha Alden(LOVING) Gwen Hotchkiss(PASSIONS) Gwen Norbeck Munson(ATWT)
Members stenbeck212
I love how Iris is determined to dress like Gwen Stefani, no matter how old she is. I kind of wish Gwen told Barbara to be useful and go design a dress. Just another vet whose inclusion is about propping their children's stories. So is Sofie another farm boarder that Emma doesn't know about?
Members kelly1142
I think I love you! And yes, IA....it would actually be amusing if Meg admitted at some point that she can't have kids, and was only leading these guys to believe she could. And as I've said...if they want another baby story (they certainly don't need one)...Johnny = aka the gaping plot hole. Or, you know, they could have NOT killed off baby Jenny. Members danthig
Kelly,I don't beleive for a second that Baby Jenny is even dead.James Stenbeck could have somehow faked the child's death like he did his other child Baby Cabot just to hurt Paul,Emily, and Barbara and had somebody on the hospital payroll to fake Baby Jenny's death.I hope JP reads the messages boards and find a way to bring back Baby Jenny to Paul and Emily for good. The child would have Ryan/Stenbeck/Stewart DNA.If I was the headwriter that would be a dream character for ATWT of whom would wreck havoc in Oakdale for years being that ATWT is around that long and cause nightmares for the characters.Imagine the possibilities. Members danthig
In my opinion ,Rosanna,Barbara, and Iris ruled today's episode. They were in total B-mode with their opponents Allison,Sophie, and Meg.I still love the character of Meg but her getting hit in the head at the end of the episode by Colonel Mayer made no sense.I don't think Meg even knows the guy unless I missed something or unless Colonel Mayer thought Meg was Lily.Loved the previews of Lily finding Dusty. Members WorldTurner
The whole problem with that is the baby was stillborn. She was never even alive. It would be extremely difficult for James to fake that especially since James is locked up in a jail in Bangkok! It is totally different from the Cabot situation. Also deep down James loves Barbara so it is seldom his motivation to hurt her. Quite honestly most people I see on message boards don't want this baby brought back. They weren't wishing for her to die, but since she did most are opposed to resurrecting her.
Members stenbeck212
Well, Kim thought Sabrina was stillborn too... Maybe objectors don't want a rehashed Paul/Emily romance to come out of Jennifer's resurrection, but story potential for that child with her parents and grandparents' history would be great. Members Siggy
Completely agree. I couldn't wait to get through today's show. I can't wait for tomorrow's.
