As the World Turns (CH/CBS) — Tramp Alert! Lock up your one-dimensional hunks, people!

Just when you thought ATWT couldn’t get any worse, Kelley Menighan Hensley returns on Oct. 24 as Emily. With all due respect to Hensley, we find another manic-suffering-dumb blonde (with the exception of Luke, of course!) running around Oakdale nauseating. Emily comes back with Chris Hughes, who is now being played by sexy newcomer Dylan Bruce, who replaces Bailey Chase (whom we ran into at TV Guide’s post-Emmy bash, and has actually morphed into one gorgeous man the past few years). In story news, during a fishing trip with Luke and Noah, Mayer aims a gun at our dear sweetheart … and hopefully pulls it on himself.

I love the caption under Kelley's photo on this page, which reads:

"Kelley Menighan Hensley (Emily) will re-join Katie, Carly, Gwen, Ali, and Rosanna as the same character split between six actors."

Sad... remember when Rosanna and Emily were completely different? I miss the real Rosanna, and I miss non-pathetic Emily. Then again, I don't watch ATWT anymore, so I suppose the point is moot for me. I barely remember the old Emily (portrayed by a different actress), though - I'm thinking about this Emily back in the early/mid Nineties.

It reeks of unprofessionalism.

First off, Emily is in a class all her own; so to compare Emily, Gwen, Rosanna, Ali, Carly, and Katie as all being a like is a big laugh to me.

The only thing that they would have in common is being women that have been written as deperate; but that's where the similarities end.

Hensley's Emily has never not been pathetic.... Hogan was the one writing her out of character when he made her Hal's wifebot.

Yeah they all seem pretty different to me...Carly is in a class all to herself. Shes radically differently from Emiloon and Gwen isn't halfway as crazy as she is.
