In the words of Judith Light's Karen Wolek: "YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES!!!!!!!!"

God, yes! I mean, really. Giving me hugs, telling me he doesn't want me to hate him or be mad at him, hanging out with a bunch of dudes with "questionable" orientations... ADMITTING THAT HE ONLY DATES "MADDIE" BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T RAISE HELL WHEN HE WANTS TO HANG OUT WITH HIS BOYS... obsessed with finding out what my ex-boyfriends look like...

YES!

I'm waiting for him to call me as I type.

Not yet -- but it's bound to happen. He's really insistant on not losing me as "his friend." And my GAWD, I swore I was watching a spy cam when Luke said to Noah "were we ever really 'friends'?" because I asked him the same thing about a week before I started watching this storyline on YouTube. But he thinks it's unfair (his words were actually "F-cked up") that I would stop being "friends" with him over this. But, like Luke said to Noah, he chose Maddie, and I'm looking for someone to choose me.

But, just like Luke, I can't shake him.

Thanks! LOL! I totally turned this from an ATWT thread to an AAM thread (All About Me). But yeah. He just came over and we had another conversation. He feels I "think too much" instead of just chilling out and going with the flow, and I told him I have to think too much because he gives me nothing to go on. When I ask him questions, he has no solid answers. I was like, "why are we 'friends,' and what are you getting out of our 'friendship?'" and he's all "I don't really think about all that. Why do you always have to get all deep with everything? Can't we just chill?" But the underlying theme of the conversation was that he still doesn't want us to break up the friendship.

God, I love him. 20 years is nothing to toss away, I guess. LOL! Listen to me rationalize every last thing!

I am so loving this story, RS! Can't wait for the next episode!! The only thing is - you'll hook-up soon and I won't have anything else that interesting to read... But you know what? Claire Labine would split you two up so who knows  Eventually, you would be reunited.

    • The black and white episodes of the show are very special. An atmosphere the color run loses. Dark Shadows was filmed live-on-tape. They could do a retake but it would be very expensive. I think there was a claim that if actors wanted a retake they would curse. There was also a rumor that at one point Joan Bennett accidentally said "Hollywood" instead of "Collinwood" and that necessitated a retake.

    • Loved this IG post from Ambyr about how she and Trisha work together. You can tell these ladies go above and beyond the script, and that they really trust and enjoy working together. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJpJufFPOQ2/?igsh=MXBmcWs0YzIwaXVhNA==

    • It is a shame that more characters didn't go the ATWT-Barbara route and make the ingénue into an antagonist. Sort of like they did with Liza/Hogan/Sunny, less successfully. It is a credit to ATWT's creativity that breathed life in that character for years after she was fighting off bulls in Spain.  But, a character like Liza can only have so many true loves and high jinks on the high seas.  They need another reason to be in the story. Liza's wealth, as well as her acumen to see through fraud, was fertile ground for tons of stories.  But, I feel like the business stories for Liza were always about her being easily overwhelmed, rather than exploring things like her leadership and managerial skills.
    • STFU!! Dante!!! This nonsense of blaming Gio is just ridiculous! Alexis and Lucky are becoming so unlikable. Why are the writers writing these characters so poorly?
    • Keith still comes off younger to me. I thought he wasn't that bad for his first day.
    • To be fair, they were only recently step-siblings.  Their parents married within the past few years.  And, Draper's father Ansel was not coy about the fact that he married Raven's mother, Nadine, for the money. And, Raven's sort of sticking it to April that not only can she have a baby (April has a heart condition that makes it difficult for her to carry a child to term), she could also have April's man, if she wanted him.
    • Keith D Robinson is 49. Maurice Johnson is 46.
    • I hope they give him more to do than just be a prick as you say. I can see how viewers would like him because the actor is so charming despite the character being such an absolute pain.    I would agree. And there was also the undercurrent of Raven and Draper sort of flirting with each other. The actors play that attraction and it worked so well in that scene.
