Wow. Incredible stuff by Cat. I loved how we finally found out everything leading up to Spencer's murder. Lindsay finding out after overhearing Rex and Michael talking, confronting Spencer, his plan, and her plan to kill him. The end when she went "crazy" and Will took her out of the courtroom. Wow!

Todd and Blair were great. It seems like they're repeating history over and over, but these two are great together.

Wasn't too serious what Tess did, but she did put Jared away for 2 years. Interesting to see what's going to develop there, and what he wants (Probably the BE job for starters)

Well, I'll admit that I was intrigued by the Jerrod storyline in the beginning, but I felt that yesterday's revealings were kind of a let down--I also felt it all happened too quick, a month into the story :P I also expected something a little more juicier.

However, I am perfectly willing to stand back and see where they take this. It might end up really well.

Btw, do we know who Asa's other son is? Can it be Jerrod?

OT sorry I never post in here but I have to say I really love your Ben McKenzie photo! Who made that for you?

I love Ben that's all I do is watch my OC DVD's and Soapnet reruns for him!

Trevor St John and Ben my two favorite actors. Plus Chad Brannon!

Let me say it again I really love your photo of Ben!

Sorry to invade the OLTL post.

Im with Dorian. Nora has been bugging me since this was revealed. She had NO business being on the case bc she had personal criminal history with Lindsay. There was no way she'd be object. This is why they have ADAs. She was like on a crusade to bring Lindsay down and it felt like this was her chance to finally stick it to her. I cant beleive Nora even insinuated that Lindsay faked this breakdown. What a biyatch! Its all Nora's fault!

Nora should not be on the case, but the defense could have had her removed!

However, Nora is not far off about Lindsey's ability to fake her insanity or anything else. Since Lindsey came on the show she has tried to destroy Nora on more than one occassion. Lindsey tried to kill her, almost did so and then got away with it. Time after time, Lindsey has been a liar from day #1, and everyone always believed her until the lie was revealed. Then they would act all surprised and outraged until the next lie.

Lindsey's past manipulations make JR Chandler look like Stewart.

I loved the screaming match between Marcie/Starr and I also liked the scene between Todd/Marcie. This show has been amazing for weeks. As much as I dislike Todd, he deserves to have his son. Marcie and Michael have been good parents to Tommy but he is not their kid.

    • I very much liked office Cleary and the actress who portrayed her (as you say, Mary Peterson).  A shame her turn didn't evolve into a contract role.   BTW, does anyone know the timeframe/years that Betty Rae served as casting director?  If i understand correctly, she not only led the effort for contract roles, but also for shorter 13- and 26-week roles.  IMO, GL had LOTS of very well-casted, limited roles, too. I'm surprised the actors throughout the soap industry, and especially P&G actors, have not assembled a book or something similar, praising Rae.  Each actor could write a few paragraphs or a page of text describing his or her experience.
    • No. Ruth had an extramarital affair with David while married to Joe.
    • I'm not sure I agree with Bernstein's children on that. Bernstein's life and activism here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonard_Bernstein#Social_activism_and_humanitarian_efforts
    • Thursday & Friday's episodes were excellent. The build-up was most definitely worth the wait (2 months). TMG, I can't give her enough accolades. AM, was also absolutely incredible. I think the fallout is going to have a ripple effect. The little clues that have been dropped,  hopefully, will weave seamlessly to reveal even bigger bombshells for the Dupree's and Martin.
    • Thanks, msn drives me nuts on the one hand but on the other hand their headlines appeal to me. And, I just don't do FoxNews.
    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archived copy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
    • Question: Jon-Michael Reed's review of 1977 is up in the retro soap section.  It includes a fleeting reference to comedic scenes between Jeanne Cooper and Julianna McCarthy regarding “Kay's would-be beau, Ralph the Plumber”.  Could someone please fill me in will more details? I forgot that Kay and Liz were friendly before Jill stole Kay's husband.  And the thought of Liz playing a comedic scene blows my mind, because I only recall her being dour both in demeanor and wardrobe.
