TVG: What was the reaction when Julie Marie Berman [Lulu] lost the Emmy Award this past year for best younger actress?

[Josh Duhon]: I’m not saying this because Julie’s my friend and co-star, but I watched the reels in that category and I have to say I don’t think Jennifer Landon [Gwen] was as deep, organic and as true as Julie was. Not to say that Jennifer’s work wasn’t good, I just thought Julie was exceptional. I think a lot of people were shocked that Julie lost.

I wanted Julie to win, but no one can deny the fact that she submitted extremely CRAPPY REELS. Landon, on the other hand, knew how to sumbit and knew what would catch the eye of the voting panel. Julie had so much great material to choose from last year, but the girl didn't know what her best work was.

You don't submit submit something with Geary and Francis for your Emmy reel! You're not that good sweetheart! And then her other reel was screaming with Carly and Laura Wright is a good actress, I thought it was her Emmy reel! Jenny-Lan is amazing, over exposed but still good!

Too bad Julie chose that scen then. She dug her own grave.

Btw. I think it's quite unprofessional of Josh Duhon to say what he said, he could have chosen his words better. imo It just sounds a little bitter to me.

Julie's earlier stuff was good before the yelling days that are now.. I think she should've asked other VETS WHO HAVE WON EMMYS to assist her.. i'm sorry but she definitely shouldnt have listened to LW.

LOL! She asked Laura I Desperately Want To Get Nominated Wright for Emmy submission advice? It should be noted that Wright was pre-nomed for every year she was on GL and was NEVER able to earn a final nomination and she has yet to earn one for her work on GH. If it's up to me, she'll never earn one.
