I can’t with Kei cruising, then losing focus and dropping these sets to scrubs in the early rounds. It’s like clockwork.

Thiem was on Tennis Channel live this morning and said it should be a max 5 minute break. The rules need to be changed.

I love Yoshi, though. Seems like such a sweet, smart, funny guy, and I have much respect for someone of his height (like Diego) who can often bully the big boys.

Probably because of all the negativity from Chris Fowler and John McEnroe. Fowler was actually complaining that the fans were for Rune. It was so terrible I put it on ESPN+ and Mary Carrillo and Mark Knowles are doing the plus match.

All of the Slams can have obnoxious crowds, but the drunken US Open hooligans during the night matches take the cake. And the acoustics in those fishbowl stadiums don’t help.

So Novak was disappointed the fans weren't for him. ESPN complaining too because fans weren't for Novak.

He’s never had crowd support, especially in NY. He’s certainly underperformed at the USO over the years for a hard court slam, but if he can beat Federer again and again against ferociously partisan crowds… I’m sure he’s bummed considering his historic quest. And it’s not like Federer is actually there.

As an aside: USO crowds used to hate Serena, for instance, but came around during her CYGS hunt.

Where will Bianca Andreescu drop in the rankings if she loses this match?

I actually want Novak to win the grand slam even though ESPN is pimping it since that's all they have. They are also trying to ignore Thiem won last year. Should I give them credit that Thiem is now featured in the opening? Mary and Co. we're talking about Thiem during the joker match.

I guess ill give TC credit for having Thiem on all week on TC live.

Gawd can they fire Alexandra Stevens? She is horrible!
