Gotta admit: as much as I know it’s unsustainable, I kinda don’t want live fans back in tennis. Much prefer this as a viewing experience.

I miss us the fans although it was cute/loved seeing Thiem and Tsitsipas watching Murray's match outside their suite..lol

And prayers for Navarro. She seems like a very sweet person.

I liked seeing the players watching from their suites too. I dunno. I find that fans at the USO are the worst of the Slams. Loud, boorish, rude. Lots of finance dudebros and wealthy Manhattanites there just because it’s cool, not because they enjoy tennis, and you can hear the murmur of folks just chatting over the matches, especially in the stadiums. Then the obnoxious drunken hooligans show up in the later rounds.

Now you can just hear the crack of the ball off the racquet, and it’s nice.

And I agree with Rennae: get rid of the linespeople and leave it up to Hawkeye. Too many crappy calls have marred good matches.

Well Isner nor Johnson got fined.

Fokina just beat Hurkacz and is so happy that he runs and hugs both of his coaches. No one is wearing a mask and one of them kisses him on the cheek. Fokina runs back and takes his shirt off and teases his team by grabbing his shorts like he is going to take them off...lawd...lol 😂

Ugh, Caroline is gonna fool around and lose this match. EDIT: happy to be wrong. Pliskova may never have a better opportunity to make a push, but you never know with the women’s tour.

Muguruza out to Pironkova. Garbiñe looked PISSED.

Y'all know when Garbine loses the first set, all inspiration is lost.  She does not like going 3 so her momentum leaves the building.

Raonic is down 2 sets to 1 against his countryman, the pretty Popsicle.

More egg on Brad Gilbert's face. I guess he's no longer salivating. Serve bots have a great chance of winning. The courts are going to get faster for them. They are all gone.😂😂

Gawd Tiafoe could be losing love and love yet they still show his crappy match.

Something’s going on with Mannarino. No one knows why his match with Zverev has been delayed. (Sascha’s just chillin’ shirtless watching the Shapo-Fritz match from his suite.) Mannarino was one of the people potentially affected by Benoit Paire testing positive for COVID.
