Ok he’s right that it was a bit rough (they could barely win points on their serve in that second set TB), but c’mon, Sascha. You just got outplayed at the big moments.

People will go easy on Sascha.  I mean, it's not like Nick said it, right?

Or Novak.

Is this for real? If so, classless.

Sasha is such a loser. @DramatistDreamer He is already not liked by tennis fans. This won't help at all. The Canadian crowd was for Tsitsipas.

I am liking Sasha less and less by the week. He started turning me off when he fired Ferrero as his coach.

With win Tsitsipas is now #18 in the world.

Zverev said he should have won each set 6-3, 6-3, 6-3. Said he wasn't feeling the ball well and wasn't playing well. Also said Tsitsipas didn't play that well. "I mean, I'm honest with you guys," he said, to qualify it.

Asked Stefanos about Zverev's comment on him not playing well. "I would say I played clever ... I fooled him a bit."  I learned from the match against him in Washington last week.

People may not realize that Stefanos' mother is Russian.

There are some weird 'Alpha Male' dynamics going on between some of the Russian descended male players currently on Tour.

Didn't Stefanos have some sort of "testy exchange" with Medvedev awhile back?  Then one of of the player's mothers tried to say that both players were actually friends and the families got along?

Tsitsipas! Four straight top 10 wins. He’s now No. 15 in the live rankings.

Anderson had some shocking errors when he had opportunities on Tsitsipas’s serve, especially on that break point at 4-3 in the third. But more often Tsitsipas was just clutch.

Halep has looked so sharp this tournament.

I loved Tsitsipas reaction after the win :D(he did that when he beat Novak too)

And Kevin Anderson reaction to his loss:blink:<_<.......LOL

So glad Tsitsipas won!

I feel like when this Halep/Stephens match is over, they are going to have to peel two gnarled, bloody skeletons off the court. They are brutalizing each other.

My word. I thought Halep was toast in that first set, reverting back to her old negativity and perfectionism. But she really pushed through.
