The Color of Money Ryan

So on today's show we get the bumbling oaf Ryan proclaiming that he will pay whichever doctor however much money he can in order to ensure his son gets the best amount of care. What a nice show of tender hearted affection for a son that he at first did not want but now he wants to go over the barrel for him. Well I say to the doctor that he should really ask Ryan for a full load of cash and really clean him out dry and then St. Ryan will be forced to pull tricks at the dock for a dollar a pop or maybe he will actually wait tables and say that the special for the day is Dynamite Kiddo fries and they are healthy for you. Just puke them up with other leftovers after watching him and Annie doing the dippity jiggity. Yep they can actually be good for you and Ryan is making that possible. But geez again where did Ryan get all of that money from to buy off a doc? Did he just swindle some poor widow with no ears and no teeth out of her money so she cannot now buy teeth implants along with Gremlin like ears? Sheesh what a really bad man he is! Enough to ruin that huge little superhero ego he has. Well we all know from Freud what happens with a big ego....it is bound to crack in pressure and maybe Ryan can fall through a crack never to be seen again. Just goes to show with all of that money that Ryan has that it cannot buy intelligence. Just imagine him on The Weakest Link...he will say after each question "That is my final answer"-oops wrong game show! But then again he don't need $$

LOL I want to know where Ryan gets all this money to donate and whatnot. I mean he told Annie not too long ago that they'd be poor for awhile since he left Cambias.

Oh wait it's probably Cambias money, the same place he supposedly wants no part of, but has no problem using the Cambias Jet on a whim

    • I'm not sure how I felt about it, but I do kind of like that it felt like the show telling us this concludes the first chapter of the series. Could be interesting if they only do it for big aftermath episodes. The biggest mistake with Martin is that it's almost hard to buy his anger because we've gotten no strong scenes with him and his parents. They've all been with Anita/Vernon. I can't even remember him ever even saying one word to Nicole, even in passing.
    •   Thank you! Agreed on both posts. And the comments about Mike Manning are nonsense.
    • I haven't watched yet, but did they explain the current ownership of The Bistro?  Because when RonC was writing, wasn't he applying for work with Sophia?
    • I think Brandon has gotten better in normal day to day scenes, but he’s very over the top when the character is meant to be angry or agitated. I did laugh when she started yelling at Leslie and then when he started to throw all those damn books, lol. He needs an acting coach to work out some of these kinks.
    • I've never found him as bad as some. I think he's always shined in scenes with Vernon, who should be his father. I also think he has great chemistry with Kat and Dani which I hope they tap into more over time. Dani/Martin feel like such a fun and believable Auntie/Nephew relationship.
    • I'm fighting for my life on another board for my husband Brandon and I'll do it here too lmao
    • I don't expect Lois to be the same person she was 25 years ago, but she's definitely lost a lot of what made Lois unique.  It's clear the show doesn't know how to write for her, and the sole purpose of Lois is to hide this Gio secret.  It's a shame she doesn't interact with more of the canvas.  It's a waste of Rena's talents. I like Brook Kerr most of the time.  She can be hit or miss.  I totally get what you are saying about her line readings too.  I honestly think the character really suffers being stuck in the Curtis pairing.  She's much better than Tanisha Harper's Jordan lol.
    • Friday and yesterday's episode is what daytime television should be. The other shows airing could take a page from yesterday's show.  I loved the rage, hurt and anger Nicole unleashed on Ted.  Daphnee should be up for an Emmy nom for these scenes.  It broke my heart to see how Dana had locked Eva out.  I do feel sorry for Eva.    I am still bumfuzzled as to why Leslie/Dana went to the DuPree's and asked them to accept Kat UNLESS Eva is really Kat's twin (and really Nicole and Ted's daughter that maybe they though they lost or an embryo Dana/Leslie stole??) I loved how Anita and Vernon both shot her down.    Ohhh and let me just say Friday and yesterday was the MOST fire I have seen Martin have since the show started.  Maybe Brandon Clayborn is coming into his own with the role finally.
