She's pretty! Looks like a good choice for Brenda. Plus she's tiny like Vanessa Marcil, which is good as well. Cheap, what's the actresse's name?

So it's official that Brenda's been recast? Hmm ... Not against the idea, not fond of the idea, either, but the fact is, is Brenda REALLY necessary at this point?

I'm glad Brenda has been re-cast. I love, love, love Vanessa Marcil and it probably will take a little while to get used to the new Brenda, but even so, it wouldn't be nearly as bad as it would've been to get used to a re-cast right after Vanessa left. Carly's been re-cast successfully twice (Carly #2 Tamara Braun and Carly #4 Laura Wright), and Carly's been the biggest female character on the show for the last few years. So if Carly can be re-cast successfully twice then there's really no reason that Brenda can't be re-cast successfully as well. Vanessa Marcil has been on LAS VEGAS for the last few years and will continue this fall and maybe even longer if the show remains popular and may end up elsewhere after that. I think the Nu Brenda is being started on NIGHT SHIFT and will move to GH at the end of the NIGHT SHIFT's run, so she can be involved with those in Brenda's circle---Sonny, Jason, Jax & Carly (I bet Sonny and Jax will each appear on NIGHT SHIFT at the end of its run).

THis may make me stop wathing GH forever...seriously. I don't know if I can accept this. I am sure the actress would be great, but she will never be Brenda to me
