I loved the Bo-Hope and Tony-Anna flashbacks and the Stefano-Andre stuff in the car today.

Unfortunately I thought Josh Taylor sucked, which is unfortunate because I thought he had been getting better lately. At least once he had a very notable flub of the lines when he mentioned Tony/Andre making Marlena think she was the Salem Stalker (rather than the Salem Serial Killer) and I thought he played Roman all wrong when Anna started talking about what a great kisser Tony was. Roman just got a big smile on his face but didn't look that uncomfortable or hurt at all. And of course it sucks that their couldn't be any Roman flashbacks because Josh Taylor was not Roman then.

Oh well. At least the show is making somewhat of an attempt to acknowledge show history, even if it is just to rewrite almost all of it.

Pretty good show today. Finally we get to see Stefano again! He needs to be on more. Loved the history being talked about today. More focus needs to be on the adults, like today, because when the focus is on the young adults (EJ/Sami/Lucas), it just brings this feud storyline down. Also, none of that stupid Colleen/Santo storyline was on, so that's a plus.

She was known was both, so it wasn't a flub.

I'll have to watch it on Soapnet later......

The local NBC station here the picture kept cutting in and out but the audio would still go on, and trying to watch it was starting to give me a headache. I'm looking forward to the flashbacks, they are always fun to see.....

I dunno... DAYS is starting to lose it again. It was so great a few weeks ago but it's not holding my attention even with the Dimeras on screen and the suspicions that Tony is really Andre. The show is starting to get boring again...

I couldn't disagree with you more.

The show is only building with excitement.

I love eveything about the Feud storyline, especially the Colleen/Santo flashbacks. I do not find them boring or stupid in the least. I am glad that they are providing this back story, it needs to be there!

I loved today's show. The flashbacks were awesome, as were the history mentions. The Tony/Andre rewrites don't bother me because it has been so messed up that it needed redone. Timelines are off (regarding ages of characters), but that's typical so I just ignore it.

I thought all the stories were interesting today, even the younger ones. Max is looking pretty stupid lately (I still can't get over the concert ticket bribe from a couple weeks ago!), so I really hope that instead of going to the casino he's actually going to go check out those trunks more thoroughly.

This week looks good. I can feel some excitement brewing.

Good show today. Good to see all the vets at the Brady Pub talking and working together. My favorite part was Steve in the car with Stephano and Andre. This is the stuff the SN always did so well as "Patch". I'm intrigued as to what Jeremy is really doing. I figured a lot of people on here like the preview of him holding Stephanie under the water!!

I am totally starting to buy into Jett being some sort of undercover cop/ISA agent person because he was really questioning Max today.

Today was a lot more interesting then some stuff recently. Even the kids weren't that annoying.

Stephanie was only slightly less annoying than usual but that party all the time crowd has GOT to GO.

The Dimera stuff was good, the Bo & Hope flashback great, the mentions of both Trista & Renee great (I LOVED both characters.)

I just don't know whey they have to foist all that foolishness with the young crowd on the audience.

Like most of you, I truly loved today's show. So many of our beloved characters (who really did well imho) performing an interesting part of the story very authentically. I could even tolerate Marlena and John together and loved the sweet, intimate kiss between Bo and Hope which was imho appropriate for the moment and showed affection (rather than sexual desire). Hope looked so very young and it's shocking to me the difference in her appearance.

The Touch the Sky crowd is beginning to get their story into gear and I am interested in it, too. Too bad that Jeremy is a Horton and why did the writers make him so bad. There has to be a reason he is a Horton.

    • I found it to be a rather odd way to deal with a character departing for parts unknown.

Luckily, EJ and Johnny, and pretty much every other character saved today’s episode.  I didn’t expect Javi to be the one to save Sarah though, and I don’t mind it at all, because if it means that Javi is finally going to get his own identity/character, away from his douchy bf, I’m all for it. Javi’s scenes would’ve been a lot better had it not been for him. EJ and Johnny were the best part of today. Their conversation hit a lot of important beats and I’m so looking forward to seeing them play out. And now that EJ knows that Johnny is going to work for Xander, that opens up another dynamic to their storyline and to the Kiriakis family storylines as well. Tying them all together could be really good. There are so many story possibilities that can come out of this. And I thought Carson Boatman did a pretty good job again too.  I also liked that Johnny was there to comfort Chanel after everything that happened with Sarah. They’re so good together. But I do have mixed feelings about Chanel possibly forgiving Johnny so quickly. Hopefully, the question that she asked him at the end of today leads to more conflict for the two of them.  And yeah, still no changes in Alex’s character lol
    • Awesome, thanks so much for taking the time to grab this episode. I had a quick review of your rip because I was curious why it was 700MB and 30 minutes. The first 10 minutes of the episode is 3169 (opening credits at 5 minutes and again at 15 minutes). I thought we had the full HD version of ep.3170 on the YouTube channel, but it appears they added the wrong episode but labelled it 3170.

    • Well, since I'm still up unexpected past my growing-into-it bedtime. lol.   I finally got to rewatch Monday's. I even rewatched Friday's to take it all in. Now that we got the reveal and hit the climax of the SilkPress Sheila storyline, now we get to watch the aftermath and/or turns that come with its climax. So far, so good. Friday left us with three cliffhangers. And what I found surprising was how I felt about them over a rewatch.    I know some of you all felt a way about the dialogue during Kat vs Eva. I remember liking it more the first time around and it was nice for them to have these scenes to establish more of a frenemy vibe for them going forward. That still held up. But I found myself agreeing with you all about that dialogue. lol. Still, it was nice to have both of their POVs.   Second up was Silk Press Sheila vs the Duprees. And I was happy to get a brief spat with Dani in there. But the rest standouts for me was Anita and Martin. Haters can hate and given the tail end of the episode, I will agree to a fault, but Brandon has impressed and he was on fire on Monday and had great subtle work on Friday. And that subtle work made it all the better. Like I believe I said when I was watching...BC has a much better grip on his character and seems to be realizing what his tics are so has started to be able to know when to turn it up and when to dial it down. And for the most part (emphasis on most), he got that. Meanwhile, TT was giving fierceness, and I was here for every minute of it. Her reading SilkPress. Her being quip about it. Her 'BE STILL.' Ooooo she had a chokehold on me as Anita gave what I was expecting her to SilkPress. WORTH THE WAIT. I also loved Vernon's CHOOSE SILENCE. I wonder though if SilkPress will figure out Martin's condition from her observing Anita and Vernon with him.   And speaking of worth it...Oooo YES Nicole vs Ted was worth totally worth it. Oooooo I knew DD would nail it, and it was all so well done. The fight between the part of Nicole who is a therapist vs Nicole as a woman who wants to express how she feels. And being so angry. And how there would be moments when it would shoot out of her. And how she would restrain herself. But how she felt she should not be restrain. Just the levels of processing and layers. And DD played it all so well. I do wish Maurice gave just a little bit more, but overall, I thought he did a good job even if it was just Ted coming across as a deadbeat and not at all redeemable. And Kat being there for her mother was so beautiful.   Minority, but I love the montage though yes, it did run a little long. Given how the Duprees like to bond (and also as I mentioned from my own very recent family experiences), it did not seem out of place to me.     That said...let's see how the aftermath worked in today's episode. Overall. Cuz RC can be hit or miss.
    • I wonder whose brilliant (

) idea it was to do an almost complete rip-off of the "who killed Tom King"-storyline. That's some quality style writing right there.....
