OK, I'm up, it's 2:19 AM ... where the hell is the Days thread? Am I taking someone else's turn?

Oh well, tough :P

Edit: Oh, I DO have an old Victor scan! Pardon the quality ...

Well now that I've got one in finally I'll lay off for a while, promise!

They can't kill Claire off, she's the most intelligent one in that storyline ...

Oh... my... God!

I just stumbled upon this hysterical banner on the NBC boards! Check it out... look closely!

I'm sorry you guys. I don't read "Days" spoilers (and if I do, I read them like Phoenix knows I read "Passions" spoilers -- VERY absentmindedly, and something is sure to evade me; I'll miss it); anyway, even though that's true, I am SO going to put my money on poor Claire dying! Hogan wants to shock the hell out of everybody by KILLING OFF THAT CUTIE!! It's sick!!! But you could FEEL it. When only three came back from the water. There's no WAY that girl will survive. NONE. :(

Tony, EJ, Sami, Lucas, Hope, Marlena, Victor, Philip, Shawn, Belle, John & Bo!

Notice the old DiMera music playing when Belle was only seeing the black shadow in her dream.

I am loving Tony and Elvis interacting. Glad they mentioned how Tony got out of jail. Tony is totally laying into EJ.

So many families interacting. It's great. Victor sure is pressuring for Philip to have Claire. What is that about Victor. Philip said they mended fences.

Now with only minutes left Celeste shows up at Lucas and Sami's. I loved that he asked her if her ouija board was working (can't spell that).

Oh EJ juts drugged Sami.

Great show. Loved the character interaction.

Pretty appropriate classic picture, if you ask me!

It was great to see Victor back. His dialogue and exchanges with everyone has me convinced that he knows more than he's let on, in regards to Claire. I mean, he experesses his condolences for Marlena and Hope's loss, yet he doesn't think she's even dead. Nice double talk, Mr. Ki'iakis.

Hope was on fire today! Between her unwelcome to Victor at the Pub, her scenes berating Shawn about the gunshot wound, and then her confusion over the dreamweaving, she was just perfect. I still prefer Hope's hair straight and sleek, though. Still, it's not flat!

Speaking of these Clairevoyant dreams, I keep rolling my eyes. The dumbest factor in the show right now, these dreams. Well, one of them. Of course, I'm also sick of fake-out deaths, even if they only last a few weeks (my speculation, not spoiler). So, I'm definitely ready for this story to FF a little bit again.

As much as I love seeing Drake, let's wake John up, please? I know it's probably soon, but it's not soon enough!

Tony! Oh man, I do love Thaao. You know, I got the impression that Tony has a two-faced agenda when it comes to "Father". Wouldn't it be great if Tony wants Stefano to live, so that he can make Stefano have to owe him for something, so he can wash his hands clean of Stefano's influence? Certainly, the Tony we love would go to such lengths, and I'd FLOVE to see that play out. Time will tell. Antony vs. Elvis was a treat, indeed. I wouldn't mind seeing Benjy pop up soon.

Unfortunately, with the humanization of EJ, I have a feeling that Tony will take the place of the cartoon DiMera. Sigh. Not that I mind EJ being humanized, I just don't see the need for a cartoon, period. I guess another return is a ray of light that puts Tony the cartoon into question. Perhaps he, too, will be humanized over time.

Lucas and Sami being lovely. Feh. I love them, I do, but, oy. Loved Celeste popping up in the end. It was nice to see her and Lucas share a scene. It was different.

And, um, is it me or did they mention Carly Manning as a REPORTER?

Definitely. There was the beginning of a schism shown today between Victor and Phillip ... I hope this doesn't put Phillip on Shawn&Belle's "side" ... I do want them to come to a resolution about the Claire situation, but I want Phillip to be torn between different sides, not fighting alongside the Bradys against big bad Victor, nor blind to Victor's ruthless ways.

I enjoyed some of Hope's looks today, you can see they are gearing her up to "get involved" ... unfortunately with the show's track record of late you can't tell if it's going to be for an entire storyline or for three little episodes in some random week. Payoffs don't match build-ups on this show, you can never tell what's important and what's not. Anyway, right now I think any material Hope gets will be because Hogan feels he has to, not because he wants to, and I feel that that will affect the quality. Still, I could be wrong. I doubt it though :P

Agreed. Enough with the dumb dreams!

I think they could have an interesting situation with the Dimera kids, Tony the heir apparent, EJ the hotshot rookie, Benji the ... the one with a conscience? I agree I don't want cartoons, I hope they don't go there with any of them.

I think I did hear a "Carly" ... I'll have to watch again.

Tony's back! I love Tony...but I still have it in the back of my mind that we're going to get a "Tony is actually Andre" twist, and the real Tony has been imprisoned somewhere. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm still not feeling this is the real deal yet. Of course, he's been destroyed by so many writers that it's hard to even remember original Tony any more. Anyway, great scenes between him and EJ. I'm so excited about this storyline.

I don't want Claire to be dead, but enough with the dreams! Just wake John up and let him go searching for Claire in real life, not in dream land.

Loved having Victor back again. Good scenes with Philip and also having him frozen out by Hope. It was fantastic having so many vets on again, and I'm praying really, really hard this continues.

    • Addie was just a presence she was talking to... till December 22, 1991. At least that's how I've noted it to myself months ago.
    • Considering his family was involved with Mike Horton in the past, I feel like they'll make him Mike's son and Jeremy's half-brother. Just my guess, and unfortunately it makes me wonder if we're in for another Charlie / Tripp situation where it'll end up being a case of mistaken identity. Just my gut feeling and not based on spoilers.
    • With the recent Kate Mansi directing going on at GH, I was wondering what other performers also did double duty on their shows? I guess we could also talk about folks like James Hougton that wrote for Bell shows after he appeared in them (he did do double duty on Knots though). Off the top of my head I think Marie Masters wrote at ATWT while also playing Susan, Correct me if I am wrong, but didn’t she do more than scripts too? Did Gillian Spencer appear on AMC as Daisy while writing there? Susan Flannery probably stayed at B&B so long because she got to direct there too. Tony Geary and his writing partner submitted stories for Luke and Laura’s return and the Endgame Cassadine one that he later said was none of what they planned. But that’s not the same as writing for the whole show, or directing. Apologies if there is another thread about this topic, I couldn’t find it!

Good! I wish the bish was aborted too!
    • Unfortunately, @Vee will never achieve the success of JFP. She’s got 11 Emmys. Remind me how many Emmys you have?
    • Since Mansi did direct, I think it puts the lie to those who say Frank V doesn't like her and would like to get rid of her.
    • Whew Kat went to hell with that last line lol.   Colby and Ambyr are so great as rivals

date: Wednesday, November 19, 2025 | Ron Carlivati, Jazmen Darnell Brown | Michael V. Pomarico Not Dana letting Vernon know that she is aware of his presence at the Bowman. No bueno. She cannot handle keeping things to herself for a period of time. Spoilt bitch, no offence, but I cannot stand you. You are getting everything you deserve. I like that Ted is not willing to take sides in Eva's battle with her sister. That is smart. As much of a problem as I have had with Martin since day one, I appreciate him seeing Eva as she is: his sister. So refreshing. Not Anita overhearing Dana and Vernon's conversation. How unfortunate. I love how happy Martin is for Eva. That is what a sibling does! And speak on it: the spoilt bitch needs to shut her trap before someone (Eva) shuts it for her. Aw, how cute is it that Andre and Dani are re-exchanging vows? Just a shame it will not last when Dani goes back to Bill and Andre goes to Ashley. And he said the four-letter word! Eva and Martin's banter is so cute; I love that she offered to talk to Samantha, whom she formed a bond with at one point in time doing her hair. And her face when the spoilt bitch made her presence known is how I feel whenever she shows up, opens her mouth, and acts like she is God's gift to the DMV. "Well, not anymore," get her, Eva. GET HER! Yesssssss. Anita has a vivid imagination? Ooh-la-wee! Anita, let us in on it. Please. Why do I feel like Dana is not talking to Ted about Peaches but about what Vernon is [supposedly] doing with Sharon? Hmm. Wow... I am surprised. It IS about Peaches. Colour me surprised. Ooh! I am so happy that Martin overheard the spoilt bitch wish Dana had "gotten rid" of Eva. Let her have it, sir! DO IT! Notes: Right when I thought I would catch a break after writer2 yesterday, today we are stuck with the writer. At least, like Danielle Paige yesterday, we have one of this soap's best scriptwriters (Brown) writing. I am sorry, but this soap's take on half-siblings or even step-siblings is very off-putting, as if they are less than full-blooded siblings, when in reality they are as special and important. The food at Uptown definitely rivals Orphey Gene's; it does look absolutely delicious and comforting. Sean Freeman (Andre) showed up today with the emotional pull. I knew he had it in him, and it is beautiful to see at the hands of Brown's scripted words.
