I think it was in a mag that ZR wanted to stay on ATWT past the end of his contract but they didn't want to do that.

    I thought they(TPTB) wanted him to stay longer and he declined? That's what I think I read. :unsure:

    Uhhh no its ATWT loss. What idiots they have there to let ZR go. I mean seriously. You lose a guy who basically the made the role his own and was a part of one of ATWT's future major couples? Stupid on all levels. Plus he was a decent actor and getting better by the day. Not to mention the character was JUST starting to get even more mature and developed. I'll mist ZR in that role but I wish him all the best on OLTL and I'm glad that I also watch that show as well. I'm sure he'll do great there. I hope he helps Todd find his son.

    I dont see it as a loss for ATWT. He was average at best. And he started getting bad again close to his run. He chose to leave. They wanted to keep him. I mean he was on a lot. Why would they want to get rid of him?

    However I DO see it as a loss for ATWT and I think he was a pretty decent actor as mentioned before. End of story. Not trying to change your opinion so please don't try to change mine or make me feel like yours is somehow better than mine. Cuz thats what it looks like to me

    Any role is replaceable. I'm not going to say that ZR is like CZP but I do think that the role of Casey is definitely his own for life and that others will be hard pressed to be as great at it as he was. Once again this me stating my opinion and its just as valid as yours.

    You sure go on the defensive real easily. Your side is always right. What's up with your statement, "End of story"? We(the Posters) can still debate whether he is a decent actor and if it is a loss for ATWT. Who are you to say end of story? <_<

    To me it sounds like Zach was going to be hard up for cash for the Summer so he choose to work for OLTL for the Summer and then he will be out of soaps again. Zach in the article said he would be willing to stay on ATWT through the Summer it was ATWT that said they wanted all or nothing, they did want him to stay, but not just for a few extra months they wanted him long term. As for him leaving I could careless, I never cared for his acting anyway. It was bad in the beginning got somewhat better during the slasher stuff, and like soapsuds said it began to suck again towards the end.

    Pilot season doesn't start again till January. My guess this role will be tempoary to make a little more cash to get him to Pilot Season.
