Now THIS is what I love reading from you ;) haha

I definitely agree with you and Steve regarding the wonderful character-driven scenes that were so emotional and intense between Krystal/Adam. Like you said, they left it to the viewers to decide who they feel for at the end.

Word to all the Ambyr/Colby praise too - my heart broke for her at the end when she stepped in front of the gun. Ambyr has improved immensely since her Sweet Sixteen days.

I've seen Jacob do some great work over the last few years - but 2007 has not been his year - he is phoning it in or something - I'm not impressed. He's been great before, so I don't know what his problem is lately.

While I agree MCS looks a lot like Budig - I also think Sabine has her mannerisms DOWN. I talked to my mother today (we have a weekly AMC discussion) - anyway she mentioned how Sabine is doing her mouth the same as Budig (although my mother isn't sold yet - she's hard with accepting any recast though).

And YES - please let Jonathan and Del both be the shooters - kill 3 ;)

No problem :) Those little weather interruptions are always so annoying....hope you can catch what you missed on Soapnet or something.

I meant to address something else today. I was a little impressed with Krystal's gunshots. Obviously she didn't shoot the gun really, but the direction was pretty good - and did they use tiny explosives or what? I was impressed that they blew up some little things (except the front door shot was a little lame).

that interruption was necesary though bc there was alot of flooding and people needed to know and be aware of the conditions out there. This is the 2nd time this has been this bad in the past 3 weeks

Annie looked gorgeous today. I really loved how her hair was done. She and Ryan were good as usual

Ah. I didn't get home til almost 7 p.m. today, so I just FF-wd'ed past the entire episode actually (was just writing out the characters on the episode for the April Episode Count, will watch later), including the special report. It almost felt as if it rained more this afternoon than it did during the storm 2-3 weeks back.

I noticed that on FF-wd. Absolutely loved that she did that.

I am SO with you there. I've said on numerous occasions that Francesca James should be the EP of this show. Carruthers doesn't cut it with me. I know Frons exercises lots of control on ABCD, but of all the shows, AMC seems to be the one that he bothers with the least. So IMO, Carruthers actually has more power than JFP and Valenti do and is largely responsible for the crapfest that it's been the past couple of years.

AMC needs a lot of fixing before I could give it another look. Anytime I sporadically check in, I'm thoroughly bored.

It is interesting with Bobbie. You could tell she was sick on Wednesday's show - and that is when Jeff had to sedate her after she realized Janet had Jenny. So she got to rest up and not talk much on yesterday's show bc she was sedated. But her voice is still kind of raspy today - but I totally agree with you Kenny. Her raspy voice definitely added that certain element to the scenes - mainly bc she sounds tired and desperate - which at this moment she completely is.

Josh is ALOT more bearable now that he's moving away from the Babe sphere. I loved those two together at first but MMT ruined the potential they did have. Babe isnt so bad herself these days now that she isnt being pimped out like she was. She's better in smaller doses

IA on Kendall's hair. She needs to do that alot more often. She's been looking gorgeous lately.

    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!
