So what are we to make of the fact that we the viewers, as well as Chad, heard someone yelling and screaming at Valerie who sounded a lot like Vincent! Were we ALL hallucinating?

Maybe Valerie is the dominant personality, so she's the real one calling the shots. Vincent emerged later in her life, and thinks that he's his own person. Just a theory.
