Um, nice random Will scene. :lol: It's true! Christopher Gerse got a haircut! :D :D

I wonder if Bryan and Chris got their hair cut together, lol. Everyone on set was probably convincing Chris to get it cut finally.

And so now let me guess, no one's going to accuse Steve of just raping Kayla? I heard the word "no" several times. Kayla was putting up a fight. Steve forced her down on the bed. Held her arms down. Hmm, I'd say that's rape.

These MABBY scenes are making me sick to my stomach. What are they doing to them? Did Max honestly think he was going to share a bed with Abby? Would Abby honestly be up for Max sharing her bed? Yes, I'm sure she wants it, but she's a virgin and she's pure and wholesome, and she's our little Abby. She would never give it up to Max, not this soon.

Yeah, it's official. Steve just raped Kayla in my book. :)

Best part of today--Will and Lucas got haircuts! Loved Sami's "Hey, buzz" when she saw Will.

I do believe I saw a baby seat in Gabby's closet. Why would that be there? I think her going after Shawn may be a red herring; I'm thinking Claire is really who she's after. And her very first scene, she was doting on Claire, although I thought at the time it was just because the baby was fussy.

Lucas needs to get a clue. How can he not be suspicious what with all of Sami's anxiety, EJ being everywhere, and talk of amnios.

And if the younger set are still in New York, then that has to be Abby Chelsea is talking to. Emily was only scheduled for 2 days on thow. You know what that means? Ashley's back tomorrow!

Annie and Ashley returning in the same day? I just may burst! :D :D

I do believe it is still Emily tomorrow as Abby. Jason47's website added April 4th that she would be on.

How did Chelsea get money to fly to New York?

Wasn't the stuff in Gabby's closet blue and much to small for Claire.

She was just saying no when he was pinning her down - I am sure she was nervous when he was first pinning her given the "strangling" in his sleep from before. But she was not saying "no" to the kissing. In fact, once he started kissing her, Kayla was into it - when they come back to the scene she is not struggling but stroking his arm. Kind of reminded me of last month when she tackled him when he was trying to leave her after he almost strangled her thinking she was EJ in his dreams. She tackled him to the floor and was pounding on his chest - next thing you know they are kissing. Very similar with the "tackle" and deep undercurrent of angry, sad and helpless emotions.

Angsty, angry kissing to be sure. Not yellow roses and gentle candlelight stuff. But definitely not violent. There are so many emotions and unspoken words between them (in part because Steve is "muzzled" with this whole EJ thing). Honestly, I think Steve is absolutely scared to death for Kayla as well as royally pissed off at her for putting herself directly in harms way. And there is nothing he can say or do about it given his current condition. I think Steve was just desperate to communicate his deep emotions to her.

All I can say is these two need to get a room sometime soon and have that Angsty!Angry!Sex that is so past due after all of the crap they have been going through. JMO :)

That wasn't Claire's stuff in Gabby's closet. I'm sensing a baby obsession in Gabby's story and that's probably why Duck has been trying to run off Belle and Shawn. We had been led to believe her fixation is Shawn, but it's really Claire. I'm thinking the writers are throwing us a curve ball here.

Doesn't rape kind of require some sort of sexual contact beyond a kiss?

Besides, she was yelling no because she was pissed off at him. They were both pissed off. When Steve stopped kissing her and stood up, she was kissing him back.

Rape might be a weee bit of an exaggeration for a forced kiss in the middle of a fight.

      A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

      Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.

      When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

      I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.

      Other than hanging out with Liz, all of Lucky's stories have been stalled out or dropped; the relationship with his son; his wanderlust. He hasn't been involved in any of the action/adventure or con artist stuff. I don't think he's even had a scene with Sidwell since the latter came to town. He's a real after thought. I doubt he's long for the show.

      Seeing Nicole and Martin together reminds me of watching Alice with Mickey Horton in the 90s and 00s. The seem more like peers than mother and son.  The younger half of the cast (35ish and below) is playing younger, and the older half (35+) is playing older.
