Scotty, I just wish I knew how come you avoided me for months on end even after I made repeated attempts to contact you and apologize for what was said.

I have no problem with you.

I just find it odd that after months of trying to conatct you and you subsequently altogether ignoring me or popping your head in here to make vague, hostile comments...you all of a sudden are a whole new person. Some sort of personal revolution must be at hand...or  *sigh* I don't know.

KBT: My lunch break is however long I want it to be, on most days. (I'm the boss.) So sometimes it's an hour, but Monday, I believe it was, what 12-5? So it was FIVE hours that time~! Granted, I had to work several hours after that, but I love long lunches.

Check this out:

That happened this afternoon just a few miles down the road from where I live. It happened in the county seat, which is only a few miles away from the town where I live.

They said on the late news tonight that the guy died. The people involved in this incident are part of a religious sect that that has their own little "town" in our county. Everyone around here calls them the 'bus people' because they live out of old buses, motor homes, trailers, cars, etc.... They carry guns around all the time and patrol their property. They use generators for electricity. The guy that shot and killed himself is their "King". They are a nutty group of people. About 10 years ago, a local tv station did a report on them. They are weird, that's for sure. I just hope that now since their "King" is dead, that the others don't come out for revenge. With all the violence lately.....colleges, NASA, shopping malls, apartment buildings....I would hate to see something like that happen around here.

By the way, Leitchfield has a population close to 7,000; Clarkson (where I live) has a population close to 1,000; and the county has a population of around 27,000-28,000 people.

    • Unpopular opinion, but the Chelsea coming out scene reeked of Afterschool Special and I really didn't care that we didn't see her coming out to her grandparents.  We were spared the 'We're Duprees and we're better than everyone' speech. As a gay person, I kind of like watching straight people acting all messy and cringey (which is why I probably have a soft spot for Ashley/Derek... and sometimes wish Jacob would take his balls back from his warden Naomi) LOL If the show were willing to take risks, I would think the Dani arc is basically a 2020's version of Betty Broderick... but I doubt Dani would actually shot/kill Bill and Hayley.  Though I do have a feeling that if Hayley is pregnant that Dani will cause to miscarry the baby.
    • I don't think that's clever, though. Maybe the writers should forget about throwing shade and write dialogue and story for Ashley and Derek that isn't boring and doesn't paint them as boring.   I agree -- both of those still need a ton of work. I still say the fades to commercials look like someone walked past the camera and hit the OFF button.   Yep, this was regression in every way. Dani was all hopped up with Chelsea like she'd taken some party drug, and then it got worse when she literally broke into Bill and Hayley's house.   -- The fakeout scene was good, but I don't want them to go to that well too often. They're already in danger of doing that. -- I'm good with Brandon Claybon's acting style. It's different, but in a good way. -- It was an interesting turn to have Tyrell question Jessica's intentions. -- I didn't see anything special about the plated food on today's show. At Orphey Gene's, it looked like everyone had a plate of french fries.
    • Diana's BSOD in Gary and Abby's hot tub is yet another gif-worthy moment.
    • I'm sure once the next budget comes in, they'll develop another community lot.
    • I agree; she's always spoken highly of her time on World Turns and how they treated her as a professional at that point.
    • That’s why I mentioned another bar.
    • Who says they won't, though? I mean, Bill doesn't even know, yet, either.
    • Julianne Moore has always spoken positively of her time on As the World Turns. She also had the good fortune of being on that show during the Calhoun/Marland era when it was at its creative peak. Hard to believe that April 2 was 40 years since Julianne Moore first As the World Turns episode.
    • You forgot Uptown. They eat and meet up there too. And don't forget Kat & Tomas' date in the Richardson living room.
    • Today was the Dani I can’t stand. She had been doing so good for a few weeks here.
