Even though I wholeheartedly beleive that Sami is going to marry Lucas, I am still going to hold my breath until she actually gets through the ceremony and we hear them pronounced husband and wife. Not true. Sami's Vegas storyline was very heavily promoted, more than this one. It was featured on the primetime entertainment shows and evertying, because Nancy O'Dell was guest starring as the wedding planner.

I did say positive promotion, Drew. In this case, they are asking viewers to participate in picking her wedding gifts and are using the wedding to promote a social/environmental cause. That's not the same as just hyping it up as a big story/event. It seems that TPTB really want viewers to invest in this so I will be amazed if Hogan pulls the rug out and goes the JER route.

I think its a nice try to try and get fans involved with Sami's wedding gifts, but good writing and showing all the vets at the wedding will bring in the viewers.

I want Sami to name her baby Jamie, after her best friend in high school. Sami never appreciated Jamie's efforts to keep her on the path of righteousness back in the day, but now that she's older and wiser, naming her baby after Jamie could be her way of saying 'thanks.'
