March 18, 200718 yr Member I don't really get how a daytime show can get more than their allotted time slot? Well, for Passions, they could probably not show DAYS that day and have it start an hour earlier. I know that for PC, it was half an hour and they did one episode to kick off a new story that lasted an hour.
March 18, 200718 yr Member If any soaps at all get more than an hour for their final episodes, it will almost assuredly be Y&R, GH, and/or DAYS. I can't see any of the others getting overtime for their finales. Wow, this conversation is getting really depressing, LoL....
March 19, 200718 yr Member They don't need more than one hour, imho. They can just write scenes where stuff actually happens and maybe, if given anything, be allowed to have more than 2-3 minutes of show in between commercial breaks. That would give them more than enough extra time to wrap stuff up. They've got several months of near-daily episodes to reach a conclusion, if that's what they feel like doing. Hmm. What if there's a preemption, either locally or nationwide? They bump soaps for pretty much everything so it's not outside the realm of possibility.
March 19, 200718 yr Member px, PLEASE don't give me a heart attack -- regarding the preemption. I'D DIE if thathappened. Literally, figuratively and otherwise. Oh, anyway, I realized I left the best part from my dream finale: after the fadeout where Ethan and Theresa walk upstairs, we fade in, see a picture of Timmy holding up his glass of a Martimmy as if to say, "Cheers!" and then hold on that for five seconds, and then fide out.

The AW fans would die if that happened. I could see JER doing that.
March 19, 200718 yr Member The AW fans would die if that happened. I could see JER doing that. I could care less. That would be a great final shot for the show, IMO.
March 20, 200718 yr Member The AW fans would die if that happened. I could see JER doing that. Oh, DAYSisHOT, don't get me wrong, I'm an AW fan too, but I'd love to watch the extremiest AW fans "DIE" if JER completely ripped off the AW ending. Oh, it'd be SO worth it!

March 20, 200718 yr Author Member How did AW end? I remember watching the last episode. Didn't it involve a wedding?
