WAY TO GO GENERAL HOSPITAL

You deserve to be there.

Wow bad week as everyone fell.

I know ATWT would fall but I am shocked that GL did. It was so good last week.

Ouch to that 2.1 for Days.

Wow to Y&R for the 4.8 on Monday. People were more exciting about that day than I thought they would be. It was movement in the story so that counts.

Didn't Y&R reveal Carmen's murderer on Monday? I guess people were interested! But yes, for most soaps the ratings were down! I truly believe B&B is dropping because Rick/Phoebe are sick and hogging up too much airtime.

B&B still needs a major revamp. I hope GH overtakes them for good.

Yes that was the day that Jana was revealed to be tied to the Reliquary and to Carmen's Murder. That is the reason that it surprised me because most say that no one cares. The ratings dropped off after that but people did care for the reveal obviously.

And yes B&B does need a revamp.

I am so proud of GH for this achievement. Just a few months ago everyone was saying the ABC soaps were done and now AMC and GH are doing better ratings wise than they have done in a long time. GH & OLTL are doing better creatively and storywise than they have in a long time. AMC still needs work creatively and balance wise but now that a new writer is coming AMC could really rebound big time.

The ABC soaps have been criticized for a long time about balance but now even Days and ATWT (even though it is getting better now) have reverted to the same things. The ABC soaps need to fix it big time. GH should learn from February that if they show more characters people care about they will tune in. Give more people stuff to do and you appeal to a wider range of viewers - age and tastes both. Not everyone is going to like every character. They might tune in for awhile to watch that person if a story is good but having them on everyday is just going to turn people off.
