With JER and PSNS, you have to throw logic and alibis out the window and focus on the "shock factor." It could be anyone. But since the original buzz on this story was a brokeback storyline, it needs to be, IMO, two men having a relationship with each other who both are in serious relationships with women. And they have to break up Jaresa, if they're even together. I haven't really watched in a long time.

I agree logic and alibis don't apply. However, based on everything including Jared being in alley and near death while Chad was with his lover...Jared's definitely not the person.

Rion, I couldn't agree MORE. I tell ya, the Chad brokeback storyline, this Pretty/Night Stalker storyline and the end of Ethan and Gwen...it just seems like this is SO "endgame," as you put it. I TOTALLY agree that NBC tipped him off, or JER just knew, that this was the final year. It really feels that way.

How sad it must be for JER to be coming to work everyday and writing what he knows will be the final episodes of Passions. At least it looks like he's giving it his all.

So technically, he could STILL 'come to work,' write "Passions," just not get paid for it (he already has buttloads of money anyway, to be sure) AND become a member of SON (if he's not already ) to post the fanfiction -- genuine "Passions" fanfic from THE MAN himself! on SONBC!!!@$!@$!@$

I would LOVE that!! Of course if Passions was to continue on the internet, etc, then I'm sure he'd be writing for that too.

I think the Night Stalker story will end before the show does. But I do think the Night Stalker is helping to wrap up (or rev up) lots of the show's stories. It's already slowly extended beyond Luis and Fancy, in an intriguing way, to make for a suspenseful umbrella story.
