Lying isn't illegal, but if she's lying, there's a reason to lie, and Roman hates to admit it, but Kate is right and she has a case. You guys are arguing like Sami isn't hiding anything. She is. And she's being mind-numbingly obvious about it, as she usually is.

No, I'm arguing from Roman's perspective. From a legal, police standpoint, so what if Sami's lying? Kate has offered absolutely zero proof that Sami has done anything worse than lie about lifting a beam off Lucas without help. Lying's not a crime and Kate has NO information to suggest that there was any kind of crime involved, therefore Roman should have laughed her out of his office.
