The thing is by the summer of Cady's return the show was getting it's lowest ratings ever and it's not like they're having Dixie (Tad/Dixie) air a lot since (since the Emma story tied up). So saying the old audience brought in to watch will leave is sort of a mute point, I think those that came back for them already left during the summer. That said, I think if they continued on with Tad/Dixie as is with more air-time it could have only helped the ratings (and losing a supercouple won't be helpful) - but mute point now.

I doubt it. GH and B&B have been close to before and GH has blew it each and everytime.

Yeah, pretty much. I am not that big of a GH fan, but with their big sweeps story coming(which actually looks good for once), they might just do it this time.

The only bright spot for AMC to me was Tad and Dixie. I haven't watched much since AMC made it clear it wasn't going to be happening.

I certainly won't watch now that they are killing her off. I hate the manipulation as much as anything.

WTG GH. I am in love with the show right now and love to see the ratings doing so well. I haven't enjoyed GH this much in a long time.

Y&R nice ratings too. Not as good as last week, but still not bad. Here's too hoping they go on up. The show has been firing on all cylinders this past week.

Glad AMC got a boost, and hopefully will again for this week which was good. I do admit that Dixie's death will hurt the ratings though and hurt the boost that they have gotten lately.
