January 5, 200719 yr Member And it looks like Nu-Sheila was a bust! I am surprised no one has mentioned that. I would not call it a bust Y&R's ratings were good for most of that week it was one day that dragged down the ratings and I think that was Friday which was the day most soaps were not on. I think we will get a better picture of how these storylines are working this time next week when the ratings for this week come out. And I agree I am not happy that ATWT's ratings went up and you are also right I think when the final total viewers numbers come out that ATWT will be in 7th not 5th. and it serves JP and CG right, with the trash that they give us everyday. January 5, 200719 yr Member I didn't dare to guess except to think that GH would be +1 over Days. Also, I was hoping Days actually would get a 3.0 for Tuesday's show. Being the day after Christmas may have caused some missed viewers. Seeing the comparison of 2000 to 2006 was disheartening and sad. I think soaps definitely have a place on daytime and would hope they would have a stronger rating. These ratings don't include TiVo'd, recorded or on-line viewing do they. I think the figures aren't accurate of the actual viewership.

BTW we haven't discussed this in a long time, but when was the date on when the Nielsens would start using college campuses in the ratings. I was thinking it had already started with this season but it may have been later. If it has started they sure haven't helped the ratings so far.
January 7, 200719 yr Member WTG GH. Keep on rising. You deserve it right now. It is so good to see you rise after a sweeps stunt instead of go back down. And for the first time I can say they have kept the excitement factor up after sweeps too. Maybe they are learning. Is GH actually good at the moment? I stopped watching when Laura left.
January 7, 200719 yr Member Is GH actually good at the moment? I stopped watching when Laura left. I think it is, and several on here at SON are talking highly of it too. I think I read Cheap say that it is the only soap she is even enjoying at the moment. To me even the mob stuff right now is tolerable. I actually even enjoyed Sonny one day this week. The story I am most interested in is Lulu's search for who killed Rick Webber. It is interesting to me, and has an inkling of a chance to include some vets for a little while at least. The other story I like of course is Alexis's cancer. And then with that is her fight with Ric over custody and the divorce. Both Hearst and Grahn are doing a great job. And can't wait to see Scotty.
