Creepy experience I had the other night...

I went to a guy's house the other night, a former co-worker of mine. Physically, he's pretty cute, but his personality was creeping me out a bit... his interests were odd, he does lots of drugs... so when he tried to have sex with me, I turned him down. He didn't want to take no for an answer and kept pushing and pushing the issue, to the point that it was starting to become a little creepy... especially when it got to the point that he was pretty much laying on top of me. He even stuck his hand down his pants and started getting off in front of me, and I really didn't know how to respond, so I just asked him to give me a tour of his place before I left.

That's when he asked me if I wanted to see his basement, because it was so large. Welcoming any opportunity to get out of that situation, I was like, "sure." Bad move. Once we got down to the basement, I think he was trying to scare me into having sex with him. He started saying things like, "See? I could do anything down here and nobody would see or hear a thing, and I could hide anything down here, too.... I should test that theory right now." Uh... okay. Then he shot me this crazy, creepy look... like something you'd see in a Hannibal Lector movie. Part of me wanted to fake a laugh, hoping it was just a joke. But it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up, and I was insanely creeped out, and he knew it.

At that point, I was tired of being nice. I told him that we should go back upstairs to his bed... which he loved hearing. Once we got out of the basement, he said that he had to use the bathroom first. Meanwhile, as he was taking care of business in the bathroom, I grabbed my coat and ran out, LoL!

The bad thing is, I forgot to grab my movie that I was letting him borrow (Labyrinth). He left a message on my machine today, he sounded rather annoyed, and told me he'd be by sometime soon to bring back the movie I let him borrow and said we'd have to hang out again sometime. What the hell?!

So, needless to say, I'm not looking forward to seeing or hearing from him again. I would call and tell him just to keep the movie, but I'm afraid he'd get pissed and turn into a big psycho stalker.

What should I do?

I like Drew's suggestion. After all..."nobody would know"! Moo-AHAHAHA! LOL!

Naw, I'd just tell him some bogus errand that you have to run and have him drop it off in your mailbox or on your doorstep or something.

Then again, you could ask a girl friend to get it from him. Say you're sick or something and say you're sending your female friend over there!

I'm twisted enough to have suggested that, but that's so wrong. LOL! We can't mess up Kenny's reputation now. ;)

Does this guy already know where you live? If not, I'd just tell him to keep the movie and avoid contact with him. If he insists on returning the movie, arrange to meet him at a very public place or if he already knows where you live, make sure you have some people over your house when he's suppose to stop by. After that's dealt with, caller ID is your friend.

Yeah, creepy is right! Let him have the movie....we'll all chip in and get you a new one! :P If he insists on returning it (and he already knows where you live), be sure and have a few friends over when he gets there, and tell him you all were just on your way out.

Whatever happened with this? Has he tried to return the movie? I understand how uncomfortable you must have been. A few years ago, a cop that answered the call when a friend had an emergency showed up at my apartment the day after claiming he was just checking on me and my friend. I lived alone, and although he was very nice and seemed genuinely concerned on the first visit, he continued to stop by and started making sexual remarks/gestures (like standing there with a *bulge* saying "can you tell?"- while in his uniform no less!). Being a divorced single lady, I actually became very scared and threatened by his behavior. I stopped answering the door when I realized what he was after, but remember being so terrified. I was even scared to report him because he'd been on the force for 15 yrs and could probably get away with murder. Fortunately, my boyfriend was over one time when he just "dropped by" and made it clear to the cop that his visits weren't welcomed and he would be reported if it happened again. I saw him downtown recently and he actually remembered my name. Creepy. Ewwwwww....

Oh, wow. What a crazy story! LoL

Fortunately, he hasn't tried to return the movie and I haven't heard from him. Then again, I blocked him on all of my online instant messengers, LoL. He hasn't called, either. It looks like I'm home free... so far.

    • As someone who was watching OLTL at the time, Dano did excellent work, but the writing was weird. Dano even got Emmy nominated for what she did. However, it did feel that the writers did not know what to do with her, but to be fair, it did feel like a lot of that was that the character was a network mandate and the writers were making it up as they were going on. I didn't watch Dano's trek around all the soaps. That kind of thing would have worked better with an ABC performer not someone who had been off OLTL for decades. I can't imagine AW without Felicia Gallant. I really don't want to because she provided so much joy for me when there was so much disappointment on that show. The only time I thought her character didn't work was the John/Felicia storyline but it got Anna Holbrook an Emmy so I can't complain all that much. It's just another example of drama at the expense of character.
    • Bringing this over from the soccer/soaps ratings thread yesterday:  Errol said: "CBS put out a notice that it could preempt at a moment's notice as the Pope selection continues, dependent on how long it takes, of course." New pope just chosen, name to be announced soon. Yeah CBS-NewYork channel 2 is airing Pope coverage instead of Y&R right now.
    • @brisbydog - I like that you have a signature font, très chic Abe and Paulina's new apartment was the first thing I noticed.  I don't understand why people over a certain age in Salem automatically move into a condo? When it seems just as simple to make the set seem like a detached home.  But, I will give points to attention to detail of choosing colors that compliment the Black actors in the scene. Which then led to the second thing I noticed.  Why would EJ want Kayla's office, when his is 3xs the size?  Also, even if he buys the hospital, won't Kayla get to keep her office? Lastly, can we at least give Cat the agency to decide on her own with whom she wishes to date?  Do men actually need to negotiate on her behalf?  She's stunning.  My advice would be if Chad is friend-zoning her after a year together, move on to his richer brother.
    • OH!!! I love it. I can't believe I missed that. In one of the 2 fan events held the 2 years after the sorry end of our lovely show, both  Anna Stuart & Stephen Schnetzer attended & I got to talk to each of them. Obviously I was in heaven. Although at least I didn't do my shy star struck thing.
    • We probably won't get any of our CBS soaps today cause of the Pope stuff, cause you know they have to air it on regular network despite having 24/7 news channels

    • I still don't know when/how did Iris find out about Evan's connection to Janice?
    • lol Cass and Donna went on a bowling date!
    • As well as insulting our host, being rude to some of the nicest members who correct you, and having an inflated sense of duty. While others may be able to add numerous offenses, the egocentrism to force any conversation off-topic to focus on you is the most egregious act for me.  This is light entertainment, an interactive discussion, not the shallotpeel-hour.
    • Yes, that is why. I mean, not last minute but it was not what Shapiro originally wanted. First, she tried to buy the show. Then she tried to buy the character. Meanwhile several other companies also tried to buy the show.
    • I thought I had stopped & then I saw this post from you. To be clear I said I was wrong. I have not made an attempt at any backpedaling. There is literally no place to back pedal to. I did 3 things. I deleted. i apologized. I said I was wrong, egregiously so.
