F*** them. I still enjoy Passions and get pleasure from it, and so do many more millions of people. There's no reason why something that people enjoy should be cancelled.

Yes, there is. And the reason is that it's not bringing in money because no one wants to advertise on it because no one watches it because it's a piece of s h i i i i i i i i i t!

I'm so freaking over this show. I'm sick of there being no pay-off to storylines.

So stop watching. But Passions shouldn't be cancelled. That's selfish----putting the haters first!!!!

Fans can only take so much BS, its time Reilly gets his fat a,s,s up and out of his padded wall bedroom and start writing like he is do capable of doing. If I were in charge of PSNS I would give him an ultimatum either shape up or its bye bye time. Could he even survive without writing a soap of some kind?

Agreed. I don't want any show cancelled but something needs to be done. The show's lack of payoffs and lack of consistency are it's main problems. It has little runs where it gets good and then falls flat where once in awhile you get a good show or two. This summer had it looking good and then it just fell apart again. The show has not been infire since early 2005. I know you can't go back in time but I want the direction Passions had in 1999-2001 or even 2004-2005. There needs to be an overhaul and, like King mentioned, I don't think it will happen. JER needs to get going because this crap is not going to do it. He either wakes up (which I doubt he will) or gives up the show so NBC can retool it and try to salvage it since it has loads of potential and some good actors here and there. If neither of those happen, then it's time for it to go even though I would hate to see it. I have always been a loyal fan but you can only take so much crap and this has gone on long enough. They have been given enough chances and nothing has been done. I watch more out of habit now and that is sad because I used to love watching it. Time is running out and the writing and stories suggest JER doesn't even care how urgent this situation is.

So stop watching. But Passions shouldn't be cancelled. That's selfish----putting the haters first!!!!

Is it selfish to want a show you know can and should be better to take action to get better?

Bottom line-what do you expect? We all know you enjoy it but time is running out. It's a business and the show's ratings stink and the quality is going down the tubes. If you want to continue to enjoy it, you should be hoping for changes to be made and for JER to get his act together. Instead, you defend the status quo and the staus quo is not going to get this show anywhere but to the point of cancellation. King and the others are right-enough is enough when it comes to this show. Action must be taken now although it may even be too late.

Okay Rion, I know you love Passions, but this is enough! I mean this storyline has gone on for more than FOUR YEARS, and it was even forgotten for a while, the tabloid secret started back up again in 2005 and has been going in circles ever since, one minute Theresa has evidence then the next minutes she doesn't, lets see how long she has found evidence and lost it, shall we:

1. (I think) Rebecca's little pack of evidence, Theresa found it briefly in Rebeeca's room but Gwen burtn it in the basement or where ever that was.

2. Alistar's evidence he was going to show everyone on New Years eve, then he was attacked By Liz, two times, and then finally Rachel and slipped into a coma. After he came out he never did reveal it.

3.JT Cornell, Theresa chased him around in Rome for the whole Vendetta storyline, and he escaped after he told her Little Ethan's true paternity.

4. JT Cornell again, got him to tell Ethan it was Phyllis just yesterday.

And we know she won't give up so that means a number five will be created sometime.

That means five times this has gone around and around, and I may have even missed some. And I'll bet because of Huber going on maternity leave is the ONLY reason this secret is going to be revealed.

And part of it is because JER keeps changing his mind, he needs to just reveal alll of this stuff NOW and stop the stalling! Or else if this keeps going on for years and years he just needs to be fired, and if anyone are actually willing find a suitable replacement.

One reason I think JER might still writing the show, and there are others but I think this is one of them: No one might want to write for Passions because they think it is beyond redeemable, or it is way too supernatural and stupid and they know if they took out all the supernaturalness (Tabitha, Endora, etc. which would totally upset me) people would be so upset it would make things worse, the stupidness might be okay if it was removed, but alot of things removed from Passions would cause a fit in many, so anyone else would be stuk and just back down because they don't want to.

I watched some of the show today to catch Kristina Sisco. I haven't watched Passions since about 2001...and the show is still crap but surprise, surprise, I was really impressed with Lindsay Korman. She was one of the reasons I started watching the show all those years ago but also one of the reasons I stopped (Theresa's obsession with Ethan is beyond ridiculous). If I had any reason to watch Passions now, though..it'd be LK...she's hands down the best actress on that show.

Agreed and she and "Lucy" is the only reason I watch right now too.
