Anybody else watches HIMYM? This show is possibly becoming my favorite sitcom this season. Did you watch it yesterday when Robin's dirty little secret turned out she was once.... ROBIN SPARKLES!!! A former Canadian one-hit wonder pop star singing at malls. And damn if the song and video isn't catchy. Think 80s pop music. You can see the whole video on CBS Innertube. Theres several links at CBS homepage at CBS.com. But, let me just warn you... listen to it at your own risk! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Robin Sparkles even have a MySpace page: www.myspace.com/robinsparkles

If you liked the first season, then you will love the second season. The only thing I didn't like about last season was the whole triangle with Ted, Robin, and the baker gal. It got a little too romantic-comedy for me and not so funny. It's much more of an ensemble show now. My favorite episode this season has to be the Robin Sparkles episode.

I watched all season 1 and season 2 this summer and became a huge fan!

This show is too good and smart to have laugh track. It's written as a single comedy show, so the laugh track kinda lessens it a bit.

The ending of last night's episode was hilarious with the slap bet countdown.

Enrique as "Ga-yele"......or "Gail".....or "Girl"......and Marshall "falling" for him. LMAO

Don't mind me, just popping in quickly to say how DISGUSTED I was with tonight's episode of "How I Met Your Mother."

So Ted tells his CHILDREN about the threesome he had? (And worse, calling it, lovingly, a "tricycle"?! And that he did it JUST to get a belt?) Granted, they left it open-ended at the episode's end but BECAUSE it left it open-ended made it even worse! First of all, I DON'T buy this is in Ted's character. A man who CLAIMS to be actively seeking a viable marriage partner, if truly serious, does NOT go seek actively seeking a threesome, or "tricycle," which is counterintuitive to that former mindset. And a SMART man, especially one in this age of sexually transmitted diseases, doesn't seek one from the first two bar flusies he happens to run into. And then to TELL YOUR CHILDREN about this? Yeah, like THAT'S setting a good example.

I'm THOROUGHLY and UTTERLY disappointed in this once charming show.

And I'm sending this SAME post to CBS and all the powers that be at "How I Met Your Mother" (which, by the way, is wrongly titled to begin with as several of the storylines CLEARLY have nothing to do with how Ted met his wife; if I were the kids I would have smothered myself with the pillows on the [!@#$%^&*] COUCH that they sit on as they have to listen to long-winded, lame-ass dad recount his glory days as a slutty, [!@#$%^&*] bachelor FUCKtard. I mean, how long can one story go?!!

So, looks like "Pushing Daises" is the TRUE charmer and teller of romance and true love -- without the disgusting, seedy, trampy, risky sex with strangers.

Oh, and Ted? SCREW YOU. I hope that after all is said and done, your wife leaves you, you irresponsible male WHORE.

    • I'm trying to think whether AW had anything remotely resembling that once Steve was killed off and Alice left a widow. So many young love stories were wrapped up either by marrying and leaving town or marrying and killing off one party. Maybe they acted in the final year as if Vicky and Jake had been that couple all along, but they both had better other mates along the way and also Jake was actively hostile to Vicky at too many points without any subtext of caring about her.

️, so all the more time to watch/rewatch these past three scorching episodes. What were some of your favorite moments? @beyondthegatescbs
    • Beth Ehlers thanked Beth Chamberlain by name from the mic saying she was THE BEST person to be in a triangle with.  Generally speaking I loved Judi's Beth but then also strongly liked BethC's Beth but I did not like the whole Lorelei stage!!!
    • Yep, it seemed temporary, lasted 3-5 minutes, then BACK! Yea.  Thanks.
    • Oh but those "Pharleys" were very adamant that they stay together and be featured everyday (though I did like their websites and the recaps they gave each day.) I agree, they were interesting at first, but the longer it went on the more Harley became this sad sack jealous wife, the more Phillip became a dumb Josh type character torn between two women and the more Beth became a pathetic looser chasing her ex.   I think after Beth came back it would have been an interesting triangle of three "good" people trying to find a way, and I did like the "Who killed Carl" and how Harley and Beth had to work together there, but we all know Phillip would have dumped Harley to get together with Beth, Harley would have been hurt but dusted herself off and moved on, and eventually Beth and Phillip would implode. They didn't bring back one Reardon or Bauer for Mo's funeral...did anyone think they would waste money and energy on poor sad Nadine?
