Yes, the body was that of Jane, Ian's wife.

I agree with you, babe. This is an excellent show, and tonight was very good .....

I loved Bree punching Alma: not even a slap, but a real PUNCH! Better, though, was when she sprayed that [!@#$%^&*]'s suede shoes!

The best part of tonight, for me, was Susan's storyline. I really felt that something was done to make this triangle riveting and to give things momentum. Now, we finally know why Ian is always such a grump and so jealous, and you could see in Susan's eyes that she was determining to make things work with him. Mike was obviously sad, even though his memory is not completely back. I thought Teri Hatcher did a fabulous job with tonight's material, and I am looking forward to this triangle playing out, even though I'm a big Mike/Susan fan.

Gabrielle amused me.

I liked the resolution with Zach/Paul, and when Zach did NOT call him Dad.

YAY for some pro-DH talk!! Another LOL moment for me tonight was when Bree was on the phone after finding Orson and told Andrew to bring a wheel barrol. LOL I don't know why it made me laugh so hard but it did. I think it was just the way Marcia Cross delivered  .

I'm not a big Paul Young fan, but I truely do believe that he has Zach's best interests at heart. I like them as father and son much better than I like Zach and Mike as father and son.

I thought the guy playing Zach was horrific tonight in his line delivery. Very cringe-worthy at some parts (particularly in the prison scene, eeeek).

I agree.

The whole show tonight was just bad. Boring and bad.

Eh, he's okay. The character is very one-dimensional. I think that for the most part, the actor does good.

Oh, yeah, I forgot about that line ... I was laughing very hard at that! Maybe my second favorite part after the spraying of the shoes :)

Well, I will always talk pro-DH unless it disappoints me. I am always interested in what happens, largely because I'm invested in the characters. These girls feel like family, sort of like Viki and Blair on my daytime show. Susan, in particular, usually moves me to tears, and the others always impress in some way. There is a lot of variety on the show, and I don't find the storylines stale at all. Even last season, when people hated the Applewhites, I found them intriguing ............ loved how everybody forgot that Andrew ran over Mrs. Solis, then Betty Applewhite brought it up to try to blackmail Bree, but Bree knew her own secret.

I find the writing to be strong, and as Kenny said, the dialogue is amazing. Probably the best dialogue in primetime. Heck, I am STILL laughing about last week's line from Susan to Edie: "Just because you bought your first diaphragm with milk money."

The "rape of Orson" tonight was downright creepy, and I am loving that wicked Dixie Carter. I can't decide who is going to win the Emmy for Guest Star this season: Dixie or Laurie Metcalf.

Lynette's decision to help Tom was very courageous, and I think this will be interesting for that couple.

Tonight's show was ok - I liked the Alma/Orson/Bree stuff - especially the ending where Bree knocks out Alma.

Wish we had some Edie.... :(

There were a few times I LOL'ed, but I can't remember the lines now...but Gabrielle said something really funny - dang I wish I could remember. Anyway I can't stand Zach - hate that he's back.

No contest, Laurie Metcalfe will win the guest spot. This Alma loon isn't fascincating in the least, and doesn't even impact the show. Plus Orson's mother is a hell of a lot more interesting than her.

Zach is very one dimensional. But TPTB had a chance to change that after the way they left the character. However, they made him some creepy stalker obsessed over, Gabby? Yuck. Stupid. Pointless. Plus even if the character is one dimensional, the actor still fails to make a splash. Look at the actor who plays Andrew. Why not write for him instead?

ETA: James (Mike) acting was also horrific tonight. The "eye candy" appeal of this character has definitely worn out its welcome.

Also where was Julie/bad boy this week?

One more thing to add. Did they ever mention that Alma/Orson were trying to conceive? Because it felt sorta contrived to me there. The way they introduced it didn't feel authentic. Just like it was thrown into the scirpt. But they could have mentioned this before, and I just didn't hear.

I thought that James Denton was bad tonight, too.

They did a series of flashbacks telling the Orson/Alma stuff...and she was pregnant, but miscarried.

That's right, they did. I rememmber now. Thanks. :) It just felt very random in the dialogue, or maybe it was the way the actor delivered the line.

Mike is SO NOT NEEDED!!!

I've never been able to stomach him & Susan.

Oh wow, they are my favorite couple! And I am so attracted to James Denton, LOL.

I'm just glad they brought on a semi-talented actor to play Ian and seem to be invested in the storyline, unlike last year when they had Susan dally with that Dr. Ron.
