On ATWT, he was terrible at writing for the vets, so I expect it to happen here too. He was there for five years and it couldn't figure out what to do with them. Well he did give Margo a storyline once, but it was so poorly written it had to be dropped (I'm talking Doc Reese btw).

As for teens, he also loved them. We had to suffer through watching Peyton List learn to act and don't get me starting on Celia who was shipped to Oakdale in an orange crate!

Other than that, he was good, but I really don't expect those two things to change much.

Hortons to return i hope-Sarah, Mike, Laura, Jeremy, Bill, Mickey

I hope Stephano returns with Vivian.-but remember he wants HORTONS to carry on and you cant really do that with Sarah and Laura....Jeremy and Mike and Mickey need to return and maybe some more male characters maybe Sandy Horton had a son...or maybe Tom Jr. had a son or even Marie Horton had a son...

The vets at ATWT, if I remember right, were critical of Hogan's treatment. It seems the actress who plays Lisa, as well as the actress who plays Lucinda, were outspoken about their treatment by Hogan. Perhaps he learned from that experience.

Mickey needs to go. Either let him die or retire and sell his practice to Frankie. Maggie is beautiful and young enough to have a romance and I'd like to see that.

There is definitely a place for Frankie.

There is definitely a place for more young men.

In real life the older adults start stepping back to allow the younger generation the gain the experience they need to become the people they have to be. There is nothing wrong with focusing more on the younger people who are evolving, experiencing and producing. They are where most action takes place. It's just the way of things. Bo and Hope are grandparents. They are joining the elder generation whether they like it or not. Many grandparents think they are too young, but that's life. Accept it or be miserable.

Didn't the interview say that Sheffer said he wanted him only part time and it is up to Mascolo to accept it or not? Where did this info about Sheffer wanting Stefano back full time come in? (I may have missed it, not being sarcastic, lol). Also Corday is the one who came out and said that the possibility of Stefano returning was not ruled out. This was after five or six years or so of him completely denying it and refusing it like crazy.

I can see some areas of concern too but I'm going to give him the benefit right now. In his interview he didn't say anything about passing the torch to the younger set. Benjy is an adult or young adult and EJ already is part of the 30 somethings. I don't think the show can get any more teen than what we say with Shawn and Belle and them years ago. If that happens again, then the show will be in trouble IMO.

We're all hoping for the best...

I can see where Frankie would fit but also why he wouldn't... If the show kept Frankie then there would have been NO reason for them to let go of Jack. If that was the case they should have let Frankie and Jenn ride off in the sunset and leave Jack behind. You couldn't have let go Jack and keep Frankie. It would be too unfair. Besides, Frankie spend ALL of his life since his return revolved around Jennifer. IA, he can move on from this, but where would the interest be for anyone? It would be a waste of time to try and get fans all interested in him outside of this story when all it has been for him is about Jennifer. I think letting him go was a good decision in leu of the budget cuts even though he is a great actor.

I hope Hogan will stick to his plans for DAYS, and Corday will not interfere....he really should know by now how thisclose DAYS came to getting the shaft. He needs to let the writers write and just sit back.

I'm looking forward to seeing his stories kick into gear. It can't be as bad as what we've endured the last six years.
