CNN Headline News said Monday it will eliminate its 4-6 p.m. ET newscast in order to bolster its editorial resources elsewhere. Co-anchors Thomas Roberts and Kathleen Kennedy will remain at the cable news channel in as-yet-unspecified roles.

To fill the time, two newscasts will be increased by an hour each. Those are newscasts anchored by Christi Paul and Mike Galanos, and by Chuck Roberts and Linda Stouffer.

DUH! Since becoming a HLN disciple(after becoming obsessed with Nancy Grace), I have always had Thomas Roberts pegged.

It sucks that since this news has came out that HLN no longer wants him to do a 4-6 Newscast. But whatever, he and Sophia Choi are pretty much the BEST that HLN has to offer. Erica Hill is just annoying and overdone(Choi and Roberts should have her PRIME NEWS, IMO). And Richelle Carey is just there as their copycat/answer to FOX NEWS's Harris Faulkner, except Faulkner has more of a personality(yeah, I said it).

I bet HLN will put more legal/entertainment/gossip/political shows in the place of that, unfortunately.

Maybe he should go to Toronto's "Naked News." I'd pay every month to see him naked.

I don't he's been cut. But he will be in an "as-yet-unspecified" role with HLN. And we all knows what that means! LOOK FOR WORK!

P.S. Straight men watch soaps too, but during the AMC segment, he admitted to being a fan of the show and referred to "Janet From Another Planet" being back. He's gay, he loves soaps, and he's hot. Looks like I'll be fighting with all you !@#$%^&*]es over him! LOL.
