Okay, I loved the show at first, but I have to say, Beverley Mitchell's song killed the momentum because it was soooo artificial. I mean, at first we have the moment we've been waiting for -- for Eric to tell Annie -- and then, all of a sudden, a SOUNTRACK comes on. Don't get me wrong, Beverley has a great voice, but it was inappropriate for that time in the show. She should have just sang a capella. The background music was TOO much. I actually laughed out loud after being on the verge of tears with Eric's near-confession. DANG!!!!!

--------

oh.

MY.

GOD.

Lucy is ready to have another child?

Dang. They gave away the series finale right there.

I can see it now.

Eric dies but the Camdens have hope, because in another hospital room, a baby Camden is born, bringing hope for the future....

Hmm...I I sort of feel shortchanged not getting to see Annie's reaction to Eric's revelation. I enjoyed the episode, but I was hoping for a real tear-jerker. I got that from "Desperate Housewives" for God's sake! Over NORA, a very limited and even unsympathetic character. Hopefully we'll have more tear-jearkers as the whole family hears the news about Eric.

I just hope some way, he can survive.

It did pull at the heartstrings when he was making bargains with God at the animal clinic. 'If the hamster comes out within the next three minutes, I'll live'...etc etc. And so human, the way he thought that way.

I really enjoy the way the homeless girls care for "the Rev." It's interesting how they realize he's "good" and even though they don't like his rules, they know he doesn't deserve this, and that the world needs more people like him in it.

Okay, no more shows without Eric and Annie. We did get Eric in the last 10 minutes, but Lucy and the gang just can't carry this show by themselves.

What happened to Ruthie? What a b*tch she became over the summer!

Am I the only one who can't stand Martin and Sandy? I think Tyler Hoechlin's a bad actor, and I've never warmed up to the Sandy character. Of course, I don't think Mr. Stults is a great actor either (his brother, on the other hand, . . . ).

T-Bone is a great addition, though. Neat character.

Agreed about T-Bone, Dr. Chip. Camdens? PLEASE adopt him. That would be so freakin' Christian! Especially since I once thought Matt was adopted. The Camdens haven't really done this yet.. DO IT, powers that be@!!!

anyway, what happened to Ruthie is right, (I like her change by the way, it's a normal teen angst kind of thing) but the question is what happened to Sandy? She does a complete 180 in SECONDS and decides to MARRY Martin? Wow. I hope that's not just so she can break it off with Dan.

I'm in love with Beverley Mitchell and Lucy Camden. Could anyone ask for a BETTER wife? Lucky Kevin!

When she was talking to Lucy on the phone, she told her how she wasn't into Daniel because he was 'creepy' and way too serious to be with her. She said she didn't even know why she told him she loved him to begin with....plus, the previews I have (which will be posted on Wednesday evening) state that Martin will put her to the test to see if she really means what she said.

Also, I like Ruthie, but I knew she would be the bratty Camden. I actually wanted to smack her once or twice for the way she was talking about her parents the way she was.

Just a little hint, Ruthie's little mouth will get her, Eric and Annie in big trouble in the next few weeks.

It looks like Eric is getting his Christmas miracle!

And the episode was THE MOST UPLIFTING THING ON TELEVISION THIS SEASON. It was a well-written episode, complete with just enough "7th Heaven" cheesiness and after an entertaining hour, we get a nice Christmas miracle to boot! How hopeful!

BUMP.

I mean, it was the PERFECT Christmas episode. Filled with hope and wonder and love! I was thoroughly entertained and touched by this great episode which teaches us to keep hope and faith alive. Many viewers, myself included, were convinced Eric would die, but we got our miracle! It just goes to show you how important it is to have faith and BELIEVE...I know, I can't shut up about it. But it really was a surprise episode. LOVED the Eric in Heaven scenes. Loved how we saw how he TRULY touched all those people he counseled in his office last week. My gosh. My...gosh. What wonder.

PRAISE JESUS!

She didn't have sex!!! Yes!!! Yes!! Ruthie is still pure!!!

Thank goodness!!

Anyway, about tonight's show: I found those "CW Connect" things very interesting. I mean, the show had limited commercial interruption, in a way, becasue for THREE whole breaks, throughout the show, the net aired a product placement series of spots based on Beverley Mitchell's rising career as a country music artist. (They were sponsored by Listerine). It's amazing that the show could afford to do that. I'd think those would be cheaper than regular ad time spread among several advertisers. But what do I know, lol.

---

About previews for next week: DAMN, DAMN, DAMN!The crap is going to hit the fan now that Sandy is moving in on Lucy's territory at the church! Oooh, I cannot WAIT to see the fireworks!

The show's getting better and better in 2007. :)

    • I agree with you about rules & regs but, frankly, choosing between retirement & working uncredited, come on, we know what she'd choose & she'd be right to do so.
    • Hold up, hold up, hold up!!!   MADISON MONTGOMERY???   If a Zoe, Misty Day, and/or Queenie shows up...lol.
    • The Producers Guild of America (PGA), while not a union, does have rules and regulations regarding membership, conduct, and yes, credits. Assuming she’s a member of course. Being uncredited for what work exactly? Given her years of experience and multiple Emmy wins - why now decide you want to go uncredited for work you’ve done?
    • That's very sad. What party he represented for and which area he represented?
    • -- Daisy is a terrible name. If you're not going with a family legacy name, you gotta do better than that. -- When Frank is done with a character, he makes sure that character is painted in the worst possible way and the shade is thrown in the script. Natalia is being treated like a punchline to a bad joke....not that I mind. -- So Cody talked about Britt today. Gee, I wonder what's going on.
    • I remember another Phyllis residence -- I don't think that was a set shown abovethread, but I'm not sure.  Trying to remember some things off the top of my head but I might be wrong about part of it: I'm referring to the condo where Phick first had sex after the Michael/Lauren wedding.  I think they specifically referred to it as a condo?  After Stafford's Phyllis went into a coma, Jack sold it and I think he gave money to HunterKing's Summer when she married Austin? Or he gave Summer the condo?    There was a convoluted side plot about someone needing money and something from this was drawn in a shady way.  Something about it being sold?  And then when GinaT's Phyllis awoke from her coma, she had no condo to come back to.
    • Which union rules? SMH. Jill’s back, uncredited.
    • Yeah I don’t get why she wouldn’t be credited if she’s back. That seems odd. I hope it’s true though, because the show needs a change. Badddddd.
    • The casino scenes came out of nowhere in comparison to the rest of the week, but at least there was some movement in the storyline. Joey has really made a fool of Vanessa. Chelsea is really embarrassing herself with this doctor. The desperation is so obvious and she clearly gets that from Dani. Hayley was giving Donna Logan vibes because that is how Donna acted when Eric had a heart attack. Stealing potential evidence is not going to reflect well on Kat and might throw the case against Leslie. Tomas had no business in Eva's hotel room even if he did shut down her advances. But I think they still might end up together at some point because the book that Eva gave him is the same one Kat called basic which seemed like foreshadowing.
    • So Sharon decides not to go to France and stay behind to support Mariah, but now with Phyllis gloating about getting an invite I’m sure she’ll change her mind.    Mariah’s secret is that she screwed that old man? I’m so confused about what’s going on here, and Mariah coming out and telling Tessa that she can’t know her secret is supposed to do what exactly? Is that supposed to put Tessa’s mind at ease? Lol…. I’m getting Cameron Kirsten vibes though. Did he do something to her without her consent and things went too far? These writers really can’t come up with something original if their life depended on it
