I keep wondering if this is a redux of the Iraq War run up complete with assurances of weapons of mass destruction. But at least then the people in charge weren't insane. Corrupt but not actually batshit insane. We're stuck between Trump and his administration filled with incompetent Nazi's and Un who had his own cousin murdered. There aren't any grownups here.

I've been tracking Mueller's team like it's my version of fantasy football. "Okay we've got lawyers with expertise in money laundering, terrorism and racketeering...That's nice but we need to add some folks with background in cybersecurity. Oh good. Done. And now we've just added an expert in foreign bribery! Excellent!! Woo-hoo!! We're going to the Super Bowl!"

I love that WaPo dropped these transcripts right before Donnie goes on a 17 day vacation. (Can you imagine the right wing outrage if Obama had done that?) This lazy old man is an embarrassment.

We have to stop being shocked that people support him. A whole swath of Americans live in a right wing bubble that is essentially an alternate reality. Fox News, Breitbart, Drudge, it's brainwashing pure and simple. I had a couple I was friends with - and I could see when they started watching Fox that it just made them vicious and stupid. Suddenly one transphobic post after another and non stop ranting about the "libs." These folks can't be reached anymore than the people in Jonestown could. They have completely given themselves over to a cult mindset. I remember seeing a report at one of Donald's rallies that one of his supporters said he prays to a cardboard cutout of Donald every day.

The amount of time and taxpayer dollars being wasted by these idiots trying to drag us back to the 1950s.

At this point it's better he golfs. He's so mentally unstable that it's the only thing that calms him down. Meanwhile Bamz's redistricting group has just started raking in money.

That wasn't meant to be a criticism of your comment. Watching Boy Scouts and cops (Seriously...COPS?!) apologize for him reminded me of how insane this all is. Donnie is showing us the worst of those among us but he's also showing us the good ones. Even in the video of his speech to the police, there is one cop who doesn't laugh and doesn't applaud. I'd like to know who he was and what he was thinking.

Slightly off topic but I have a college friend whose husband is a vet and during the election they both gave me a big education about my assumptions where the military and vets were concerned. Both the good ones and the bad ones. For example I couldn't figure out why vets would vote for Trump after his comments about McCain. They informed me it was because Hillary was campaigning on making cuts to the military. The military is their livelihood and Hillary was campaigning on attacking that. I had never considered that perspective but it makes sense. I guess what I'm saying is that we don't know how the military really feels about LGBT soldiers because, like any other group, there's a wide range of opinions.

Maybe we can get him to buy a nursing home so he'll spend time there. That's where he belongs. His tweets basically sound like a dementia patient complaining because the cafeteria ran out of tapioca pudding.

The IC declared war on Donnie when he stood up at the CIA memorial wall cracking jokes about his inauguration while his paid sycophants laughed in the background. The FBI started coming for him the day he fired Comey. I'm guessing his little stunt with tweeting military policy was the last straw for the armed forces.

I have a friend in North Carolina who is working a minimum wage job. Every time one of those puff pieces comes out she tweets the publication to say that she's there if they ever want to talk to a member of the working class in a red state that voted for Hillary Clinton.

He's a malignant narcissist. They are incapable of apologizing. The thing about Trump's asking for police brutality is that it isn't in any way limited to people of color. He's an authoritarian. He's going to want that kind of response for anyone protesting him.

This is the kind of government you get when you elect people who hate government.

It does seem like we might be turning a corner. I think it's his attacks on Sessions and Murkowski that might have flipped the switch. These folks may not care about the rest of us but he's going after their tribe (meaning Republican senators) now. I think they are beginning to see that none of them are safe and the truth is he makes their lives and jobs way harder to do.

Not surprising. ICE is basically to America what the SS was to Germany. My understanding is that ICE and CBP are the law enforcements job that people get when no police department will hire them. It's the last rung.

I'm so tired of this country being held hostage by stupid, hateful people who are pissed off that a black guy got elected president.
