  1. The Real Housewives of New York City Season 8.
  2. They're putting in quite a lot of effort and creativity in the promos. Too bad it's not for the product fans WANT. Still, hope this turns out good.
  3. I watched the NYC 100th episode special they did a few years ago and that was a lot of fun. I do occasionally miss Jill but only a little and only temporarily. But apparently there was a housewife named Cindy? I've watched every episode of this show ever and I don't recall her AT. ALL. Not that surprised though, she only rated one clip of a few seconds. Maybe having Jill back would be fun. But no, God, please no Alex and her gay husband! What weird little ducks they were.
  4. Forgive me for discussing older seasons, but I finally caught up with Season 7 of NYC and what a MARVELOUS season it was! First, the obvious: Bethenny's return was incredibly welcome and she was absolutely hilarious. Her journal moments constantly had me laughing. Ramona did change while also still being recognizably her crazy self. What a fascinating woman. LuAnn, too. I love to hate her Countess persona. Rounding it all up, the ever fascinating Sonja. I loved her fashion line storyline. As long as these four women are around, NYC is NYC for me. Overall, I really liked all the storylines and how they pretty much lasted the entire season, all with beginning, middle, and ends. I have also grown to just LOVE Carole. How cool, smart, and unique she is. I really dig that chick. After a season, I'm still not sure how I feel about Dorinda, but her and Carole's storyline of facing their grief over their husbands together was excellent, touching stuff. Heather barely had anything to do. But the real trashbox is Kristen. What is even her purpose? She had zero storyline. Zero presence. When she spoke, I was like, gurl, the grownups are talking now. Hell, she had an entire 10th wedding anniversary party the show didn't even bother putting into the regular episodes. She adds nothing. The MOST ridiculous scene of the season was probably the Fυck-you-dinner. Really? REALLY?! The season was so good that even during the reunion, where you think they can't possibly pull off anything else, Ramona falls asleep. Classic. CLASSIC. And then when all the ladies started hugging each other and Andy was like 😶 I really love that they aren't toxic and actually, despite occasional craziness, can listen to each other and resolve things. I adore the NY directness. It feels like these women know each other and can co-exist beyond the scope of the show.

  6. They can't possibly be unaware we want this. All articles on the reboot are, at the very least, slightly sarcastic about the whole thing. Maybe there wasn't interest in a straight continuation (which I doubt). I would be SO there if they picked up the story and kept going.

He's a better actor than Twilight suggests and very good looking. Also, looking forward to seeing him jacked.

I love all the International Hotness!!
  9. Will I watch? Of course. At least the pilot. I just think it's hilarious how this is one of the only shows most people seem to be OK having a 'reboot'/continuation (and with it being an open-ended soap opera could very easily be done) and they won't do it. Sad, especially since the wonderful chemistry they used to have seems to still be there and Dylan's death (drug relapse?) would make the perfect opening moment story.
  10. I actually quite liked that storyline too. I am a sucker for the occasional outlandish story. But, yes, binging (or, at least, watching it faster than over months) does really help. And, let's face it, Evans was not delivering acting gold.
  11. Season 6/7: I really liked how they did the shooting and its aftermath for the first half of Season 7. And the resolution (with the college shooting) was a smart one. They really made April likeable as the season progressed. Once she had that freakout during her trauma training, I knew she was a keeper. I did not expect to cry so much when Arizona came back. And the reveal that Callie is pregnant genuinely surprised me. Great twist!
  12. Barf.
  13. I've watched it so many times over the years and I still get goosebumps. What a terrific speech: From great opening line, to subtly funny moments, to a grand finale. The love was palpable. One of the greatest daytime moments.
  14. Very intriguing!
  15. Better shot and lit than actual DAYS episodes... Quite fun, too. Not complaining about all the shirtlessness.
  16. One more ratings record as we say goodbye.
  17. The finale made an entire point of how, yes, he was punished. But, no, not some gruesome death. Whoa! Really cool!
  18. The show was no longer an adaptation. It stands to reason it wouldn't be George R. R. Martin brilliant anymore. That was a really good finale. Clarke did, once again, marvelous work as she addressed her army. I gasped when Jon stabbed her. Expected but, still, I wasn't sure they'd pull that trigger. LOVED, and predicted, that Drogon would melt the Throne. I did not expect Bran to become King and didn't have much hope we'd see all the other great characters, but all was pleasantly surprising. Really happy Davos, Brienne, Bronn, and Sam are on the small council. Really happy Sansa is Queen in the North. Really happy Arya's exploring. Really happy Jon's back Beyond the Wall which makes him happy. It was heartbreaking watching the Stark children share their last scene together but I am so happy their montage was the end. Sigh. What a show. What a journey. Goodbye, Game of Thrones.
  19. He's quite funny and charming. You tell 'em, Grey Worm!
  20. @ChitHappens @Antoyne I mean, would it have been nice to see Cersei suffer/tortured a little before her death? Sure. But was it HUGE poetic justice, not to mention ironic, that the symbol of her power, what she fought so evilly to keep in control of, literally came crashing down on her? ABSOLUTELY. Delicious. Delicious!
  21. I think this was one of the best episodes of the series. Wow. I will have to rewatch. First of all, Emilia Clarke's performance was PHENOMENAL. I am so annoyed at the posts I'm seeing claiming this was OOC and that the writing destroyed Dany etc. Ridiculous. This has been foreshadowed. I guess Varys' outmaneuvering couldn't save him this time. Loved how the dragon stepped out of the darkness. The Hound's death and Cersei's death were incredibly poetic. In terms of special effects/production: Superb. And now one more war...
  22. In some heartbreaking news, Peggy Lipton has passed away. Another one lost to cancer. This (sadly, tragically) makes Norma and Ed's long, looong road to reunion even more touching and poignant. I'm so glad we got to see that. 72? I would've never guessed. RIP.
  23. That blooper is funny! I swear, I don't know what y'all even WANT!
