  1. I hope so. Or maybe Amazon will have it for much less. I'm not paying $83 even if I am obsessed with owning TV shows on DVD.
  2. Just saw this! So exciting! And the cover is great: I think it's a great idea that they just did both seasons together. God bless Shout! Factory. But they have it for $83... and the list price is $119! I mean, come on. You can't get so greedy with some short-lived soap opera from the 80s... if this were around 40, it would be a STEAL and I'd buy it the DAY OF the release. But to literally price it as two separate seasons? No.
  3. Mehcad Brooks has been cast as Jimmy Olsen. Wow. A tall, sexy, muscular Jimmy Olsen? And that voice....... Interesting! I didn't realize Berlanti is involved in this. I tend to really like his shows.

Can we share thoughts on latter-Madonna, when most agree it hasn't been the same? Let's say... everything after MUSIC? What do you think about American Life, Confessions On A Dancefloor, Hard Candy, MDNA? I know most dislike them, especially HC and MDNA, with the possible exception of Dancefloor. Are there any particular favorites or good things you feel/think about those albums? I've always loved Miles Away and Give It 2 Me for example, but HATE 4 Minutes. And I think Gang Bang and Masterpiece are brilliant. Dancefloor I've always loved as a whole and stuff like Love Profusion and Nothing Fails are beautiful.
  5. LOL! Yeeeeeeeeeeeees!

I haven't listened to them yet! Just Living for Love, which I adore. I gotta get around to it, soon!
  7. Naughty, naughty Karen! A nightgown in 1968?? Tsk tsk... And inviting Matt into her room to "help" with the window. Oh myyyyy.
  8. Those two were amazing together. Beyond fabulous.
  9. I heard Style on the radio for the first time the other day and I got SO excited. Too excited! lol Another extremely radio-friendly single. If they play their cards right, she might end up with five big hits from this album.
  10. Yeah, you never know how it will work out. Maybe it's what's needed. We'll see. I am here until the very end, too. Hopefully that won't come to pass for a while LOL
  11. Although it would be rather soapy.......
  12. BARF. I'm going to reserve judgment until it happens but... BARF.
  13. And I really should start Season 6... I just don't have the heart for it. Season 5 nearly broke my spirit! lol
  14. Thanks, Paul Raven. Fascinating. I never tire reading about Irna Phillips because drama followed everywhere she went. And it's always great to get a look behind the scenes of the fabulous anomaly that PEYTON PLACE is!
  15. DaytimeFan would probably be able to speak more accurately on this but I don't think he looks bad at all. The man is almost 60 years old and he's always had a round, full face which, with age, has become more prominent. Other than the redness, which might be perfectly normal, I think he still looks pretty darn hot.
  16. Unfortunately, the ratings don't look too good. 0.1 rating (same as last week) and 195,000 viewers (a slight increase). These don't seem like numbers that would warrant renewal. .Not being after GIRLS but rather after a new show has really hurt LOOKING. We might be looking at the last season
  17. lol You mean TOGETHERNESS?
  18. All this stuff is Marland, isn't it?
  19. Yep. I'm glad she seems to have realized she needs to tone it down, return to her earlier pop days and focus on that (or at least I hope her collaboration with RedOne implies that). She should beg Max Martin to work with her. I wonder if he would.
  20. Lady Gaga back to working with RedOne for her next album. Seems like a wise move. http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/pop-shop/6443520/lady-gaga-back-in-the-studio-with-redone
  21. SUPERGIRL has found its SUPERGIRL http://insidetv.ew.com/2015/01/22/supergirl-melissa-benoist/
  22. Thanks, that's what I thought -- a good ten minutes are missing. That's fine, glad to have what we have, just wondering.
  23. Thanks. I'll definitely try to find as much stuff from 1989/1990 as I can before moving to the rest, while also doing earlier stuff too. This was my mom's show in the 70s/early 80s, so I've always wanted to give it more attention. In the meantime, I did one of those 2000 episodes. Are those episodes edited/cut/not full? Because the running time certainly doesn't add up. Whoever that Danny guy is, I love him. Good actor, pretty good in his scenes with Michelle, and hot on top of that. I thought he and Michelle were adorable, although he seemed to carry more of the weight. Is that guy Tony his brother. That stuff was really crazy with the way he was dancing, completely unaware that the other lady was crying.
  24. Thanks, Dan, I'll check it out! 1991-1993 was a renaissance for the show, correct? Some even call it a golden era.
  25. He probably should have told the truth but I wasn't surprised the least bit that he didn't. As far as he knew at that point, Kevin was still keeping their relationship hidden and could potentially just end it all the next day. And here is Richie, the man he still has feelings for, and there's a chance he could say yes. I can at least understand why he did it. It's only later that Kevin made progress.
