  1. I do not recall any of those characters. I had thought that Franklin Cover played a judge on the show much later than 1973. I do not remember the director of the play that Sean and Devon were in, but I do remember that the play was "As You Like It" and that Devon played Portia.
  2. The first actress (Antoinette Byron) who played Skye also was heard singing at Tom's restaurant (the Goal Post). After the new actress was hired, the singing part of the character was dropped.
  3. Larkin Malloy, who played Dr. Kyle Sampson on Guiding Light, passed away on September 24 after having a heart attack. That was also his birthday.
  4. Larkin Malloy, one of the actor who played Clay Alden, passed away on September 24 following a heart attack. (That was his birthday.)
  5. Actor Larkin Malloy (Travis Montgomery #1) passed away after having a heart attack on Saturday (his birthday).
  6. Actor Larkin Malloy (Jefferson Brown/Skylar Whitney) passed away following a heart attack that he had on Saturday. That was also his birthday.
  7. Former writer Agnes Nixon passed away this morning (Wednesday).
  8. Former head writer Agnes Nixon has passed away.
  9. I believe that she played a rabbi on One Life to Live. The show's co-creator, writer, and (unbilled) executive producer has passed away. She was Agnes Nixon.
  10. Former head writer Agnes Nixon passed away this morning.
  11. The show's original head writer, Agnes Nixon (who was Agnes Eckart at the time) passed away this morning.
  12. The show's creator, original co-head writer, and executive producer has passed away. She left us this morning (Wednesday).
  13. Creator/executive producer/writer of the show Agnes Nixon died this morning.
  14. On As the World Turns, Millette Alexander played Sylva Hill, R. N. She later married Dr. Suker. She did have lupus. She was one of the few soap opera characters who did. (Later Megan and Marty on One Life to Live both had lupus.) Julianne Marie, who played Eve, was married in real life to James Earl Jones. He was appearing on As the World Turns or had just completed his role on that show. I think that this was the one of the final episodes.
  15. The last episodes of the show were more and more about Dr. and Mrs. Lawson. The storyline was moving away from the original idea, and viewers (at least this young one) was losing interest in the show due to that.
  16. I have been listening to the dialogue in the video above. Is that first scene a dialogue beween Jean Garrison and Angie? or is between the character that Constance Towers played and Angie?
  17. Since "father" (Henry McGill) and "son" (Herbie Vail) did not share the last name, I wonder if they could have been "step-father" and "step-son" - or even adopted father and son?
  18. Two questions tonight: 1. Do you remember or have any information on actor William Gleason. I know that he played Detective Bauer on Ryan's Hope in 1981. A writing (possibly his obituary) stated that he played on The Edge of Night for a two-year run. I can find nothing about him. If possible, would you shed some light? 2. Bernard Barrow (The Doctors, Love of Life, The Edge of Night, Ryan's Hope, Loving) played two roles on The Secret Storm. The second is very memorable. He played Dan Kincaid (which I may have misspelled), a candidate for governor. His first role was as a professor or possibly as the president of a college. Can you tell us this character's name?
  19. It looks like Marie Wallace with a lot of make-up. The voice sounds much older, but it is possible that she is that good an actress to sound older. I happened to notice that you mentioned Search for Tomorrow's character in an above post. He kidnapped another character named Robin. I believe that is the role that Marco St. John played. (He was also on As the World Turns and on All My Children.)
  20. I am not sure about who you ask about, Slick. Is it the actress playing Mrs. Brior, the older character. Is that Marie Wallace from Dark Shadows and Somerset?
  21. He was much too young to be paired with Haley (as the storyline soon was written).
  22. I have just read that in 1973, Carla Gray on One Life to Live was being followed by a mysterious man who was posing as a policeman named Lester Brock. Do you know who played Lester?
  23. Thank you, Slick Jones. I had been unaware that she had appeared on All My Children.
