Why did Frons cancel SFT? Was it because like ATWT and GL, it typically skewed to older, conservative audiences?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Nene loathes Brandi too. They got into it a few years back at a Bravo Upfronts party. Nene would never align with her. She'd align herself with the women with money (LVP & Kyle).

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
I'm glad they didn't kill Carol either but I wish that they would've had her exit either running with Max OR leaving with her believing Max, scolding Abi, and vowing to comeback and smother Ian and Jane upon the truth coming out. And yes, Ian and Kathy's reveal/Ian's suicide attempt was horrid. How many times has Ian threatened to off himself to keep a woman? At this point, I wish a small breeze of wind would've blew his ass off the highway rail. And Jane bringing up Peter and Louie in her argument to keep Ian from jumping was stupid. Peter couldn't barely stand the sight of them upon his exit. I doubt he'd care if Ian jumped at this point. Paul and Ben is just sex. I've never seen affection between the two. They're just two young chaps humping each other. I don't see how this is supposed to transform into some love story. I don't see it either. But I guess now that Kathy is about to return to the Square, Ben will need some 'loved' one he can trust and be his soundboard.

Hell no. She can keep dreaming.

Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
I see Adam following his brother seeing as they are extremely close and they both are over here a lot on holiday. I think their trips over here were tests to see if they wanted to make the move. And I wish the show did more with Jason than just making him be Corrie's resident meathead/piece of meat. I think he has potential of landing something. I remember people saying Rob Kazinsky wouldn't amount to anything and he went on to land on True Blood and will be in one of the most anticipated movies of 2016, Warcraft. I'd hope Kate would. If anything, I hope she goes through and get rid of characters like Fiz, Michelle, Chesney, and Sean.

What?! I'm shocked to hear this! I always expected him to stay on Corrie to the wheels fall off. I wonder if his twin brothers will follow suit. I hope he is successful though.

Married to Medicine
+3 I'm over Quad. It just boggles my mind how the other women (minus Mariah, Lisa, Heavenly) cower to Quad's demands. She needs to go. But Lisa and Heavenly better watch out b/c I get this feeling that they are next on Quad's hit list. Quad already has the women hating Lisa (as their reactions on the reunion showed that). She'll be plotting Heavenly's demise too. Both of them will be joining Mariah in the doghouse soon enough.

Very true assessment; however, you gonna stop shading my Rosanna! Yes, she was a drip throughout the 90s but she came into her own towards the end of Yvonne Perry's reign and Cady McClain taking over. But thanks for post the 1983 episodes! I really enjoyed them. It broke my heart to see Margo go from being on cloud nine to a wreck. It was actually good to see Justin Deas be subtle and gentle instead of screaming all the damn time. Why wasn't he like this on GL? I thought Kim was going to slap the tar out of Craig too when he kept interrupting her call with Betsy. And seeing her with blond hair was jarring. I'm used to her black or gray hair. The blond was just too much. I really wish someone had the Mr. Big storyline. That's the one ATWT story I wanted to see after The Willows story, which I've seen thanks to WLS.- As The World Turns Discussion Thread
Well who else would be in the same category as them around that time? Pam? If so, it's no wonder why she didn't emerge from Lily's shadow. She's been a bore in all the episodes I've seen her in. Would we consider Frannie and Sabrina to fit in the young heroine category too? And I know you like Julie too, who is about to soon arrive on the scene. You don't think she emerged from Lily's shadow? But then again, she was more of a antiheroine/vixen (alongside Emily) if anything.- As The World Turns Discussion Thread
I'm bingeing on those same group of storylines, NBA! That episode when Duncan found Tonio's battered and limp body in front of Lillith's door. The expression on Lillith's face did make me giggle a little, though. Duncan showed more sympathy than she did. Not only did Lillith look at Tonio like she didn't know him from a can of paint but she looked like, if she could, she would've kicked Tonio's limp body over in front of someone else's door. I know she was trying to convince Duncan that she and Tonio were strangers (rather than potential bedroom buddies) but she couldn't even muster a look of shock or sympathy over Tonio's unconscious body. Yay! Someone I can share in the joy with! That scene with Lilith, Duncan, and Tonio was funny. I don't know whether to tremble in fear or burst into laughter. But she is a joy! She's the type of deranged ex-wife character I like. She's proactive and not inactive. She doesn't just pine for Duncan like a sap. Instead, she spreads love around to Tonio and James. It's just something sexually liberating when it comes to Lilith, which is a huge contrast to a lot of the women on the show at the time.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Episode 5: Magali v. Dawn was hilarious. Magali had me straight rolling with her insults. She has no chill whatsoever. And when she got up and left and then came back--I about died thrice. But I am glad that the two came to some sort of middle ground. Tanya, Lauren, and Lapdog in Portugal was boring. For Tanya, this trip did her no justice. It just shows that she has no story this season. Only thing that was popping about this trip was the scenery. I definitely have to add Portugal as one of my future vacate spots. It looks so tranquil. Ampika's dog almost drowning in the park lake was too much. My heart dropped. I'm glad that Bella is safe. I would've been a wreck had that been my dog. And why did Dawn find it necessary to tell her kids that she was meeting with Magali? I can tell that Dawn is the type of parent that wants to be best friends with her kids. I bet when them cameras are down, Dawn's kids give her hell. Next week seems good with all the women meeting for lunch. I cannot wait to see Magali and Dean's vow renewal next week. It's good that Magali is also making the other three work for their invitations. I personally wouldn't want Dawn or Leanne there. Ooo! I am going to have to watch this later. I'm binging on '88 at the moment with Meg recently losing her baby with Josh and Tonio blackmailing her to remain in the marriage. I cannot wait for the poster to upload the climax of that story. I love how everyone on the canvas at the time is tied to James' impending return. So sad but good that I have to get my soap fix from old episodes of ATWT.- EastEnders: Discussion Thread
Well Carol's exit was underwhelming. Glad she got a Julia's Theme exit but gosh they could've at least built to her exit. I didn't care for Jane paying her off out of guilt. That just made me hate her even more. This Bobby story can only take a turn for the better if Bobby actually offed Jane. Poor Lauren. She actually told the truth and the officer just brushed off everything she said. That has to be disheartening. But the cop was hella smug, which is so funny b/c Carl, you said that you hated that aspect to whodunnit stories. All the other stories were just too boring my taste.- EastEnders: Discussion Thread
Oh. So now Bobby is going to become "The Bad Seed" now I guess. *heavy sigh* Had Bobby not been onscreen all his life and just popped up disturbed then I would've believed it. After all this time? Not so much. I feel like story is going to result in ruining the Beale/Fowler clan for good. Even Kathy coming back is not going to be able to clean this mess up. And don't get me started on Sharon being involved in this story. As much as she loves Ian, she would've never kept quiet about this. She would've instructed Ian to come clean and get Bobby some help. Plus, we already did this story back in 07/08 with Steven being the 'bad seed' and torturing Jane and Ian. Had I known all I known now, I would've been glad had Steven killed Jane when he shot her back then. And I am over Dean's arc. Either punish him or let it go. I just wish that they never made him into a rapist. Seeing as they won't and haven't made him feel remorseful for his acts, they have already written him into a corner.- EastEnders: Discussion Thread
Stacey figuring out the truth would be the only bright side about this entire arc b/c she's a dog with a bone; she won't let it go. Plus, her being with Martin for the time being will allow her access to getting to the truth. But I don't expect for that beat to be played either. As you stated, it'll be anticlimactic. But I am praying that Jane exits after this year too. I never cared for the character but I utterly loathe her now. And Ian has been tarnished by this story. I know I was in the minority but I enjoyed him opposite Denise. I've never been the biggest Max fan (even though I love Jake Wood), but I felt so bad for him last night.- EastEnders: Discussion Thread
Can Abi please be killed off? She's such a snitch! And I cannot wait until all is revealed and the boom is let down on Jane and Ian and Abi has egg on her face. But I'm over the 'who killed Lucy' saga. Reveal the truth to everyone on the Square, send Bobby away, punish Jane and Ian, and move on. This story is tiring.- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
That is the main reason why I can't stand Chas or any of the Dingles in recent years. Before, they were the 'have not' bunch with immoral flaws that we rooted for; however, they've become more pious and righteous as each year progresses. Lisa and Sam are the only Dingles I still care for. I like Cain & Charity to some extent as they owns who they are but the rest of them annoy me. Especially, Chas, Aaron, and Debbie, who are the most destructive of the bunch.- As The World Turns Discussion Thread
That's why I wished that OLTL & AMC emerged as successful ventures online b/c it could've opened the door for other opportunities. I still that soaps can make it online but they need great production companies and great teams backing them. Plus, the model can't resemble what it is on TV. IMO, they need to be 2-3 days a week w/ a short hiatus towards the end of the year like the Australian soaps.- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
I haven't enjoyed Chas in quite some time. Like YEARS. So for me, her selling out Chrissie and her actions towards Aaron is typical Chas for me. And I don't mind murder mysteries when they are well thought out. That hasn't been the case for EE and I doubt it will be for ED too.- As The World Turns Discussion Thread
I think having her back for visits and possibly bringing in her daughter Jill (who could have been like a young Margo - hell on wheels) would have been more interesting material for Tom and Margo than psycho Adam or the constant worries about who was on the end of Casey's penis. All this talk about what could've been just makes me angry all over again how this show could still be on air flourishing. Especially since traditional, family oriented storytelling has been hot in the past couple of years. Funny how fads die out and then reemerge hotter than ever years later.- As The World Turns Discussion Thread
So you think that she is one of the many characters that they should've brought back sometime before it's cancellation?- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
I enjoyed Lawrence's scenes tonight but I just don't care for the character at all. Maybe it is because he constantly babies Chrissie but I just don't care for him. But "Who shot Robert" isn't captivating b/c I already expect the shooter to be someone pointless like Lachlan.- As The World Turns Discussion Thread
From what little I've seen of Maggie, she was either shrieking about Frank and him possibly going rouge in the Haskell story, flirting with Cal, or suffering from baby rabies. But I did like Frank, who seemed like a milder version of Steve. Were all the Andropolous men overbearing brutes?- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
^ Well Kim said in an interview w/ Huff Post earlier today that she was closest to Phaedra. That shocked me. - As The World Turns Discussion Thread
