Got around to the '83 episode @DRW50 posted and I thought the scene with Steve/Andy was cute! I also thought it was funny that Andy slipped and told where Betsy was. And I find David to be annoying as hell. From reading recaps as of late and watching old episodes, I just don't care for him. I realize his importance on the show at the time but he's so moody (in the recaps I've been reading), and in the '83 episode I get the impression that he was gonna squeal when it came to Betsy's whereabouts.

I still find her to be extra but Kenya earned a lot of points for me when she showed real compassion towards nene at the reunion. Cynthia is and always has been irrelevant to me. I know! Isn't that great!!! Whatever boy! Haters gonna hate but this is the first time we won't hear a tag line or that trademark "BLOOOP" and I'm just speaking for myself but it will feel very strange and quite sad. Like NJ without Teresa there won't be any heart or soul to ATL this season. That's just my personal belief. Well she chose to leave. No one ran her off. Nene was pissed b/c she felt the show was 'too toxic,' yet she never acknowledged how much she contributed to the toxicity within the group.

I agree. But that's why I prefer the international shows better. They haven't reached that toxic level yet and it is refreshing. Cheshire and Melbourne havent yet but Vancouver sure did. Its why its no longer on the air Yeah thanks to Jody's miserable ass. That's why her luck post show has been pure sh-t. She just decimated that show thanks to her vileness. So you didn't think that Dawn sending the gift to make herself seem bigger didn't make her seem petty? But damn I am so ready for next week. And at Ampika giving Dawn a devil mask and then Magali calling her Dawn the devil. It was petty as she did it to send a message. With that said, I dont think Magali is innocent as she has been passive aggressive. To me when you forgive someone, apologize and agree to move on, that should be the end of any beef. They had a truce and Magali struck back at her first. She is more in the wrong here as Dawn wasnt coming for her anymore. I respect her reasons for not wanting Dawn there (bc everything was still so new,she wasnt sure if she could trust her yet and it was small and intimate), but she should have explained that to Dawn. She seems to do that in the preview but IMO, that should have happened before the wedding instead of leaving her hanging the way she did. I love Magali but I gotta call it as I see it And yes next week looks good! It looks like it could be Cheshire's equivalent to the "Dinner Party from Hell" or "Pillow Talk". Its going down! On a side note, I think Lapdog has got to be my FAVORITE nickname in all the series. Its better than Moose, Jesus Jugs, Wig, Whorega, etc... I just love writing and reading it and I wish the ladies would say it more on the show. Lapdog...it just rolls off the tongue...lol Oh no I was just acting. And I don't think Magali is innocent either. But I don't think she should bend over backwards for Dawn b/c everything Dawn does is calculated. Remember when Ampika and Lauren and fell out with Dawn first season? She practically tried to mend fences with Magali to gain another ally on her side, but Magali was onto her. RHOCheshire E9 for those who wanna see it while it is available: Yes to everything you said. Especially the last part. But it won't be hard for Vicki to be redeemed and for Shannon to fall hard. It's already in the works. Shannon is growing on people's nerves with her constant interviews to bash Vicki (and her hubby subtly to lesser extent). Trust and believe that Andy is gonna either recast or bring people back to redeem her like he did LVP in s5 when she became the black sheep in s4. He was all for team Vicki at the reunion and it is obvious he is gonna move heaven and earth to ensure she returns and is comfortable. Heather was righteous at this reunion, which is so funny because last year she was looking stupid and reportedly wanted to leave the show because of it. Meghan was allegedly brought on to ensure Heather was comfortable and had an ally this season. And Meghan was so repulsive by bringing up Leanne for pity. I am glad that Vicki didn't give it to her. I hope Jim scolds her for using Leanne's memory for story and pity. It's just gross. I agree. But that's why I prefer the international shows better. But she's polarizing with most OC fans. But I do think that she has more OC fans that hate her than they do like her. She's like Brandi levels of vile. I love you with ALL my heart but.... RHOCheshire: Tonight was so good. Magali's vow renewal with Dean was precious. I was nearly brought to tears. You can tell that the Gorre family is tight knit. It was also good to see Magali's friends outside of the show too. Ampika (besides Magali) remains to be the MVP this season. I don't know why Lapdog goes toe to toe with her b/c she gets ate up every time. When Ampika brought up her and Magali not being invited her christening and neither of them being upset I DIED. Ampika demolished her ass off that comment alone. Lapdog couldn't bounce back. Ampika is like the voice of the audience. She says what majority are thinking. She was onto Dawn putting an idea out into the open and Lapdog and Tanya going and doing it. But I am glad that Tanya wised up and decided to have fun. Lapdog, like a dog with a bone, still goes and approaches Magali about not inviting Dawn to her wedding. I am glad that Magali paid her dust and nixed the thought of Dawn ruining her wedding. Magali stuck to her guns and I am glad. I can see the rift starting between Ampika and Lauren. Ampika was speaking the truth, and Lauren couldn't handle it. But Lauren did make a valid point that Ampika needs to stop butting into her marriage or it'll make things so much more worse. Dawn sending that gift and then openly stating her intentions, which were to make her seem like the bigger person, solidified why Dawn is petty. She should've just sent the gift and kept her mouth shut. By her saying she sent it to get one over on Magali made her even worse than Magali. She had the power w/o saying anything but squandered it quickly. Dawn is so stupid.... Dawn projects her own issues onto Magali. Every insecurity she claimed that Magali had, she possesses them. She was talking about herself. And she stayed talking about Magali the entire day. Her daughter even brought up the pics on Instagram. Dawn continued to look petty as f-ck. But next week looks like a free-for-all. Dawn v. Magali (again). Ampika v. Lauren. Cheshire is going ALL out and I am loving it!!!

I don't think the show will ever recover either but I think they will do their damnest to repair it. I think their first attempt to do so will be to bring back figures from the past (as I keep saying). They are going to bring Alexis, Gretchen, and possibly Lizzie back as all three have recently spoken out about Vicki being ganged on, and all three have people asking for their return back throughout social media. Seeing as Bravo tends to listen to huge outcries on social media, I wouldn't be surprised if all three are back to be Vicki's allies against Tamra's coven of witches. And I agree that the other women didn't look well received after the reunion. If anything, they came off worse. Tamra with her fake tears, Heather with her sudden anger, Meghan with her determination to bring down Vicki, and Shannon being as unhinged than before. Vicki popping a Xanax, which she admitted, made her look the best. Had Vicki put up a fight as she usually does, she would've caught so much more heat than she's been getting. But her ingeniously playing it cool and accepting the ass whooping she received, she came off as a martyr. While people are pissed, they feel sorry for her too. IDK why someone like Heather, Meghan, or Shannon pick up on it. Tamra did, hence why she broke out with the tears but it was too late. The audience hates her so much that when she cries it has no affect. These women should thank Vicki (another point I keep making) as she and Brooks gave them story. Without Brooks' 'cancer' story, this season would've been wrapped up months ago and it would've been low rated. Thanks to this season, OC has gotten the most publicity from mainstream media EVER. You never see OC on ET, E! News, or Extra. Those shows are usually interested in RHOA, RHOBH, RHONY, and RHONJ. Most of the time you see the OC on some local news station trying to promote their show. This season, they actually got on some of the big stages ... but that was all Vicki and Brooks' doing.

Ooo! Thanks, Carl! I will go back and watch that episode from 1983 later on. Tonio is such a low down, dirty dog. Does the people he is in cahoots with really have info on Sierra or are they just trying to pilfer money out of Lucinda and Craig? Just when I grew to like Tonio a few episodes ago because he felt bad and had a soft spot about Sierra, he goes and does this. Speaking of Lucinda, she is no better. No wonder her karma was sh-t around this time. From her using Pam's dad and Julie to cause trouble for Duke and that slight jab she gave my Caleb when Lily called from Waco, she is an evil ass b-tch too! But I love Lucy! But damn she was devious. Julie faking a pregnancy is so cliche but I am eager to see where Marland is gonna take this. I think he's one of the few capable writers that can take this trope and actually make it interesting. Poor Andy. He is sprung. Julie has him wrapped around her finger like nothing. So I am guessing that James was the one that called Emily and is the one that Buddy is in cahoots with? Brock and Emily.... That shower scene was so sexy! MS' Emily has done a lot of her best work in the shower. I thought that shower scene with Holden awhile back hot but her and Brock are even hotter.

Who was the man behind the bar that was clearly referring to Grant? I'm drawing blank at the moment. And boy was Sharon's skirt short in this clip. So short, you could almost see up it. Refreshing to see EE classics like Pete, Ethel, and Pauline. Boy was Ethel a gossip! But that was clearly British soap trope. Sadly, we don't hardly see characters like that on soaps anymore.

Eww no. I hated the Kasnoff family! And I am right along with you. I'm over the Mitchells and the Beales at this point. Both of their stories suck to high heaven. I'd settle for Denise and Masood stories any day. I also don't buy Gavin as this big threat. Have they've even explained how he became this large kingpin while the whole premise of him and Kathy faking his death was to pay off their debt? And was Larry Lamb willing to stay as long as the show wanted him? B/c if so, they stupid squandered that by having him do all those heinous acts before going. Yeah, it paid it off then but it isn't paying off now.

It was too precious, too self-referential, too "inside." One of the main reasons Eastenders has struggled in the last decade has been producers who are too obsessed with making the past their own. No other soap does this. Look at how Emmerdale all but stamps out the past at times to try to create a future. I don't really approve of that approach, but at least it means less time spent coughing up greatest hits. Even the Carters, who were supposed to be some fresh new family, got the "He's your bruvva!!!" nonsense, a failed knockoff of Zoe/Kat. There's no reason for him to have said that. It does nothing to further story or create a moment. It does nothing but cheapen the past and limit the future. Yes to everything you said! I felt like it took away from Den and Sharon's history. And when Den said, "hello, princess" it was out of affection. We all know that he loved and adored Sharon. Too much at times. Hearing Gavin say it was hollow and gross. And that's the exact reason why the Carters stick out like a sore thumb on the Square. They are lite versions of the Slaters. I feel like if DTC tried making the Carters originals instead of knockoffs, they could've been a hit on the Square already. I'll keep saying it but the Fox and Masood clans were the last good families to hit the Square. Anything after has been trash.
