Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
This week's Auckland was so good. I don't fault Louise and Ann for slating Angela's book launch - it SUCKED. Julia is such a dumb bitch, throwing around racist language and gossiping about everyone and spreading what they say about each other behind their backs - Julia clearly wasn't raised properly, you talk sh*t about people behind their backs!

Exactly. That's how I seen things tonight. HRC did enough to ensure him to think he has a chance when he really doesn't. Come time for debate #3 and voting, she needs to knock is ass out officially with some salacious dirt, which I know she possesses. We don't need him dropping out. Drag his ass to the finish line and finish him off. Precisely. Come the last debate she must decimate him and destroy him and leave everyone associated with his campaign ashamed of themselves.

It's hard to know what Ivanka feels about all of this. The former Mrs. Trump, Ivana, has said that she single handedly raised the children until they were 21, at which time they went to work for Donald and developed a relationship with him. I believe that. Frankly, the children turned out too well for them to have been raised by Donald. Ivana is a great survivor: she got the hell out of Communist Czechoslovakia, worked tirelessly to build a modelling career in Canada, had a 13 year marriage with Donald that involved spearheading successful ventures for him as a corporate vice president (popular with employees and respected by third parties, Ivana's success seemed to be a part of their marriage collapsing as his ego couldn't take it) and captured the zeitgeist when she divorced him. Throw in old school central European values and an immigrant's iron discipline and it's no surprise that Ivana raised three children who got good grades, graduated Ivy League and stayed totally clean from substance abuse. Rosie O'Donnell's recent accidental meeting with Ivanka at Nobu in Manhattan is a case in point. Rosie describes Ivanka as "absurdly kind" and that she "smiled graciously" and that her husband was "warm and gracious"...Ivanka married a man very different from her father, which is interesting to me. Jared Kushner is certainly an ambitious young man, an observant Jew (who she converted for) but an obviously graceful person, both calm and reserved. It's clear the children are fierce defenders of their father - but it only seems to have occurred as Donald improved his post divorce relationship with Ivana. Donald Jr. didn't speak to Donald for a year after the divorce. It seems the children idolize and defend their father, the larger than life monolith...but the one they really love and protect is their mother and they may view an improvement in their relationship with their father as another way to protect their mother and honour her hard work through their success. I think Ivanka is deeply embarrassed...but he's still her father. Ivana raised those children admirably but the achilles heel of raising children admirably is you often instil a sense of loyalty into them. The Trump children's loyalty to their mother results in their loyalty to their father. They couldn't protect her from him when they were children - indeed, she protected them from him - but they can insulate her from him by showering him with the attention he so desperately craves. I genuinely believe the support Ivana has given Donald publicly in the last couple of years has been lip service and that she's happy to keep him on the periphery of her life and that protecting her children means offering him whatever attention she can bear to muster.

Unfortunately for Arianne Zucker, this is probably not the way she wanted to land on the front page of one of the UK's most widely circulated and venerated newspapers.

RHOV never should have ended - they just needed to refresh the cast. The problem is that Vancouver is a relatively small big city with a very quiet monied set - it is not a tasteless city. The housewives they were able to sign on were anomalies.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Auckland This episode was so different from the last ones because all of the ladies got together and rallied behind Angela...of all people. This was Angela's redemption episode as it emerges she's gone through hell in her life, is wildly insecure and her boyfriend is a bastard. And not one of the women didn't feel for her. It's almost like the editors set us up to despise her delusional ass, only for Julia to reveal herself to be a racist villain, leaving Angela available for redemption. Ann and her nephew are beyond cute. She is Auntie Mame. I also really enjoyed Gilda and Ann going to painting class. Louise continues to be my favourite. Cheshire This was a bit of a dull episode. I'm glad Tanya finally had the baby so she can stop being a whiner about it. Dawn and Leanne burying the hatchet was mature of them. Next week looks good as several marriages implode.

Nene has been hit with another tax lien. This time for $95,000.00: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3822215/Real-Housewives-Atlanta-star-NeNe-Leakes-hit-tax-lien-owes-1million-taxes-IRS-threatens-seize-assets.html She's now nearly at a cool $1,000,000.00 in the hole with tax debts. They'll start seizing assets soon. Nene...oh...how the mighty have fallen. She has clearly blown a fortune. What a fool.

OC After seeing this episode, I'm convinced Vicki has something big on Shannon. Shannon fell into line and decided to "have fun and be civil and not be BFFs" with Vicki awfully quickly once word got around, courtesy of Kelly's big mouth and flared gossipy eyes, that Vicki has something on Shannon. Tamra and Heather can pretend they don't want to know, but I'm sure they're salivating. The 'organic mattress' scene was nauseating. Shannon easily looks the most haggard compared to the rest of the women (though she has the best, real, jewelry) - her organic lifestyle is failing her. Kelly's marriage is obviously built on a shaky foundation. However, they do at least talk about what's bothering them and Vicki made the good point that she bailed on her marriage with Donn and the she did it all wrong. Tamra's chest looks terrible now that she's lost so much weigh with her weight lifting - you can see where her implants stretch against the skin. She really needs to put back on 15 lbs. Vicki's new guy looks nice and normal. Let's hope the best for this one. Vicki needs someone decent. The Ireland trip had the most scripted setup we've seen in recent memory ("You're ancestry is Irish?! Let's go to Ireland!"...no wonder Heather's acting career stalled, that was just dreadful).

Dynasty: Discussion Thread
If the British papers are to be believed, the producers of this remake have Dame Joan in their sights to join...obviously to have anyone else play Alexis would be ridiculous and career suicide for whoever takes it on (because they will fail)...but perhaps they'll rejig things with Alexis somehow related (or just as Cecil's widow)...ultimately if this show doesn't have Dame Joan in it they can kiss any support for it goodbye.

Dynasty: Discussion Thread
It doesn't sound like Dame Joan would be involved. Thus, I hope it crashes and burns. If, however, the Shapiros get their heads out of their ass and get Dame Joan signed to a contract paying her serious money I hope it works.

Will & Grace Revival
That was cute. It goes to show they haven't lost a beat of their old chemistry.

Will & Grace Revival
I loved this show up until Harry Connick Jr came and ruined it - so I am all aboard a revival or reunion.

Auckland I was appalled this episode. There is no coming back from this. Julia tried to make herself out to be a victim and that just fell flat and ridiculous. There is no justification or excuse for the use of a racist slur like she said. Michelle handled herself incredibly graciously. And I loved her hurling the champagne (and later the glass) - that was soap diva fabulous. Anne was hilarious with her talking head interviews. Louise called how badly this was for Julia. Angela was a good opportunist preying on Julia being ostracized so deservedly.

NYC Reunion Part 3 was by far the most civil and it really seemed like Andy wanted to wrap things up nicely. I felt for Sonja - she tried to take the high road with Bethenny's attack on her and Dorinda called her delusional. That was unfair. Sonja is a basically nice person who can own up to her crap. She looked beautiful at the reunion - a gorgeous Sonja Morgan New York dress - and clear headed and quick witted. LuAnn redeemed herself by repeating, over and over, that Tom seriously screwed up and that she was heartbroken. She stopped pretending it didn't happen and that she's fine with it. That's good. Bethenny was unhinged as always. Carole was irrelevant as all hell. She needs to GO. The rest of the cast was magnificent and needs to return next year. Cheshire It was sort of a blah episode since it focused on Stacey so much. Misse can go - she's a hack. Lauren needs to be better at covering her tracks if she's going to be messy like that. But stupid Misse didn't catch her, so maybe not! Glad that Ampika and Tanya got over their non feud Aukland This series is a gem. Angela is certifiable. She is so fake, so weird, so off. And she acts like she's a real somebody. Her poor assistant. I love that Anne speaks French to her on the sly. I LOVED that scene of Anne and her nephew. That was so cute. I have really warmed up to Anne. I also warmed up to Michelle and Glinda this episode. Finally, Glinda loosened up a little bit. Julia made an ass of herself with room selection (she should learn from NYC's Ramona) and that seems to be the trend with Julia. She's a try hard and it just doesn't work. Love Louise. I am part of that tribe.

OC I can't even go into how disgusting I think Meghan and Shannon and David and Jim are. What they all said about Vicki and the way those two bitches tried to cover their asses by seeing Vicki was transparent and pathetic. They are evil. I am so glad Heather went full sanctimonious on them and that Tamra is going to cannibalize Meghan. Trying to throw Tamra under the bus when it was clearly an accident was just disgusting. David had an affair because he's a terrible person, but I'm glad Shannon has to deal with the mother in law from hell. She deserves it.

Ladies of London
I want the new Ladies of London season now! I had read that Caroline had moved to Dubai and had rented out her home and took a much smaller apartment in London. It'll be interesting to see how Marissa's businesses have done. I believe Annabelle quit the show.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I see it very clearly with Meghan. To me there is a real difference between Housewife Life and Real Life. Vicki tried to get along and build bridges with Meghan and Meghan rolled into the Merv Griffin estate to sit by the pool and enjoy drunk Vicki - they're not even enemies by this point. That's Housewife Life. Real Life is what happened with Vicki going to the hospital without any next of kin. It is despicable that Meghan couldn't bring herself to drive 45 minutes to the hospital just so Vicki had a familiar face there who wasn't crew. I would do that for someone I didn't like because that's a Real Life emergency. Meghan's tone on the telephone said it all - she's a stupid, selfish, immature little bitch who couldn't admit that Vicki is a human being and that, in a moment of crisis, she should have stepped up and been there. I hope Heather gets as sanctimonious as she can and brings down the hammer on Meghan and Shannon. Despite all the crap these women throw at each other, they are also members of an exclusive Housewives club and they should realize that when the chips are down they should be there for each other, based on simple human decency.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I'm not coming for you when I say you're mistaken. Based on comparing Potomac Season 1 to the latest/current (and in the case of DC and Miami last) season of each American franchise, here is how they all averaged: Atlanta: 2.852 (million) OC: 1.798 Beverly Hills: 1.760 Potomac: 1.621 New York: 1.506 New Jersey: 1.455 DC: 1.403 Miami: 1.02 Dallas: 892,364 Potomac is by no means a failure, it's exactly the middle - but it did not outperform OC and Beverly Hills and was nowhere near clinching #2 most watched. Troublingly, Potomac started really strong (over 2 million viewers) but by the time it ended it had really faded (1.39 million). The colossal failure is Dallas as it only cracked a million viewers for its premiere episode and fell afterwards.

NYC Bethenny is a terrible person. She's evil, entitled, and mentally warped. When she screamed "I can do whatever I want!" it said it all about her. "I'm single now, now maybe I'm going to get to date Tom" - Jules was hilarious. She battled Bethenny and Carole admirably. It's probably for the best that she isn't returning. She had a good season and acquitted herself nicely. Dorinda defended herself nicely and I really like her. She is a good person with common sense with the "listen to all of this and take pause!" Sonja kept herself serene for the first two parts of the reunion. That changes next week...but I think she is a delight to watch and was great value for the season. She has been admirably sensitive to LuAnn with how she's dealt with the Tom issue. Ramona's honest statement to LuAnn about the red flags with Tom demonstrated her best qualities. And then she blew LuAnn out of the water with that Radar Online article that LuAnn conveniently forgot she'd told her about. LuAnn isn't coming off well in this reunion defending Tom. She should have dumped him and kept on being fabulous. There is zero reason why Sonja would lie about the number of times she slept with Tom and the nature of their relationship. Sonja never tried to hurt LuAnn, so LuAnn's callousness to her never made sense. However, LuAnn slaughtered irrelevant Carole yet again with "What are you babbling about again?"

Aukland Angela gets stranger and stranger as the series goes on. Her French assistant looks like she's been captured by Angela and is being held against her will. I really enjoyed Anne this episode, especially with how she asked the assistant if she as okay - in French. Michelle and Angela's little squabble highlighted that Michelle isn't that great at arguing when she's been caught out with a negative statement like the one she made about Angela sucking in her stomach. She couldn't defend herself at all because it isn't a defensible statement. And she floundered. Julia vs. Louise is hilarious because Louise is going to slaughter Julia every single time. And Julia knows it. She is so stupid and sloppy and ill equipped to deal with someone of Louise's intelligence. Gilda remains totally humourless. Cheshire The Ampika/Tanya feud is beyond stupid. These two never should have had a feud in the first place and the feud is entirely Tanya's fault. She continues to be too stupid for words. I love that Mark didn't shy away from her offer of a facelift - it'll help him tremendously. Dawn doesn't bother me at all and I find it interesting that so many of the women (especially that pointless Stacey) find it necessary to have disagreements with her. Stacey annoys the hell out of me. Seema and Misse did nothing this episode. So not much change from last season. Leanne seems calm and serene. Her new house isn't as nice as her old one. Lauren is BACK. Love her. Shame about the divorce. But she remains fun and fabulous.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
You've got that right. Kelly is really off. She isn't 100% likeable. I'd hate to deal with her in real life (whereas Heather Dubrow, while high strung and snippy and snobby on the show, is someone I'd enjoy in real life because of her sense of manners and proper behaviour). But on the show, Kelly just flies because she's gone after Shannon and hasn't minded taking swings at Tamra and Heather along the way - all of whom have had it coming since their tangles with Vicki. The less said about the Beadors, the better...Shannon mustn't have much self respect for staying with his cheating ass. The same goes for NYC's LuAnn (much as I enjoy LuAnn, and she rocked this season, she should be leaving Tom and keeping the ring). The difference is David Beador is much worse than Tom: he cheated on his wife of 15 years and the mother of his three children.
