Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
And a Happy New Year to you, Cat. Let's hope 2018 is better for everyone, even Lisa Rinner.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yesh you missed the hateful parts where Rinna is talking over a scene where LVP is talking to Taylor about instigating a problem with Kyle and Rinna shouts that it’s LVP doing the instigating and then there were other scenes involving Cedric who she describes as her friend.

@Cat @Taoboi @Antoyne @Cheap21 @Nothin'ButAttitude You should pop over to Lisa Rinna’s Instagram and watch her Insta story - she appears to be binge watching season 1 of RHoBH and she seriously hates LVP.

Part of Luann checking into rehab has to be down to good legal advice. The judge himself intimated that Luann has an alcohol problem, so showing that she's taken him seriously will help her cause. Ultimately, though, going to rehab won't be a cake walk however she does it.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
We have not had a housewife with the guts to enter rehab mid-filming. I don't think it will be all that problematic for filming - this is likely a four week inpatient program with outpatient care afterward given that Luann has a court date on January 25, 2018. If Bravo is smart, they will applaud Luann's choice and edit accordingly. If Carole and Bethenny snark one line, they'll be finished and I'm sure they know that.

Luann is checking into rehab per her social media. Her statement is that she is totally embarrassed, has the utmost respect for police officers and is voluntarily seeking help at an alcohol treatment facility. Luann hit bottom and surveyed the damage and took action. Good for her. I hope it is a healing time.

MELBOURNE I despise Venus. She is a blatant liar and cannot be trusted. Worst of all, she's a bad liar and thinks they're all stupid enough to believe her pile of crap that she was spewing all episode. She couldn't even keep a straight face while lying. She is such a creep. It's so inconvenient that she did such a bad job hiding her tracks because Janet made mincemeat of her. Gamble is right about the lord and lady thing. "They're as rough as guts" - she can be so hilarious and savage. If Lydia didn't know why Janet doesn't like her then she'll find out next week. Lydia is the ultimate sh*t stirrer and her fat ass needs to take several seats because she is as thick in the head as she is in the waist. If Janet was critical of Jackie and said some crappy things about her, it says an awful lot that Lydia thinks it's her right to tell Jackie to her face. I feel sorry for Sally for the loss of her husband. Not much out of Gina and Jackie this episode.

Camille's quiet, elegant shade about Rinna and Eileen as her backup was delicious. It went down smooth. The same applies to her ice dildo love - that is the Camille we all know and love. Adrienne is looking like Jocelyn Wildenstein. She needs to stop everything she's doing to her face and go see Paul to sort her out on an episode of Botched. Kyle's new home in the Valley was burglarized and apparently $1 million worth of jewelry was stolen: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-5219121/Kyle-Richards-Mauricio-Umansky-home-robbed.html It's also confirmed that their Bel-Air house is on the market.

Further detail about how Luann's night in Palm Beach went to hell: https://pagesix.com/2017/12/26/luann-had-previously-dated-the-guy-found-in-bed-with-her/ Ultimately, it comes down to Luann being in bed in the wrong hotel room with an ex she picked up in the bar, which she got into because it was unlocked as a hotel maid was doing turndown service. Luann locked herself in the bathroom and the cops were called. The whole thing could have never happened if she hadn't been wasted.

Favorite TV Themes/Openings
For the geniuses of that genre of television (Aaron Spelling, Sidney Sheldon, Judith and Steve Krantz and, of course, Jackie Collins) I hope they knew what their shows meant to you and others who share your story - I think it's incredibly touching. I think Aaron Spelling did, which is why he revered his audience so greatly, and Jackie Collins did which is why she kept writing. Agreed about It's Hard to be Tender - it really is a sad, beautiful song. I think it captured that mini-series really well. It also captured a certain essence of Joan. Joan demonstrated that she could produce a highly successful piece of commercial television with that mini-series - it looked first class with all the location shooting and the Valentino wardrobe. I've wondered how Carly came to write the theme for the mini-series, the only connection she and Joan have is they both dated Warren Beatty.

She's confirmed this was the first time she's been in Palm Beach since her wedding and that it brought up buried emotions and offered an apology: https://twitter.com/CountessLuann/status/945034058756689920

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
She probably saw them out and about, drank too much, caused a scene and then didn't even realize it was a cop when they arrived on scene. The whole thing sounds so blown out of proportion - it seems the judge thinks so too - she got to go back to New York without posting bond.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Luann must be mortified. She looks wasted in the mugshot and disheveled in her outfit before the judge. I am surprised police were even called. It isn’t as if she was driving.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Exactly! The interesting part of all of it for me is that Siggy tries to argue that Bravo didn’t show her side of the conflict for context about her reactions. What she fails to realize is that acting like a lunatic is never justified. There are reasons, but there are not excuses. She thinks she can be excused when she cannot. What she did to Melissa was really awful, for example, and there’s no context that can justify it.
-
Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I would be shocked if she wasn’t fired. Bravo is perhaps allowing her to save face with her announcement. The reaction to Siggy this season has been unlike any Housewife I’ve seen: near universal hatred. She can blame editing all she wants but if she didn’t load the producers with ammunition from her outrageous behaviour there wouldn’t be anything to use against her. She should stop blaming Margaret and take a look in the mirror.
-
Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
NJ Siggy is a pig. Full of drama, full of excuses, and full of sh*t. She is a horrendous person. Team Margaret all the way. If Siggy is complaining about the editing I have only one thing to say: they can't edit what you don't give them.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
It's an easy 15 minute episode to watch - she looks great and went to a good doctor who did a conservative, tasteful job.

I agree, I've seen better, but BH wasn't bad. I don't have much to say about it other than Bravo should realize that Erika Jane isn't going to happen. Try as they might, she isn't the sensation they act like she is.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I want Kyle to embrace this tagline so badly. LVP’s is the best, as usual. Rinna’s isn’t bad and I like Dorit’s haircut. Erika’s doesn’t quite work while Teddi’s is bland.

The theme for Jackie Collins' Hollywood Wives encapsulates Los Angeles in the 1980s - all those stores on Rodeo Drive (Bijan, Fred, the old Ralph Lauren Polo - those scream 1980s to me), the smorgasbord of 1980s actors, all those status symbols (the Petrossian caviar, the Dom Perignon champagne), this opening has it all and then some:

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
NJ Siggy deflected against Margaret's analogy and made a real ass out of herself. The Hitler analogy wasn't even in bad taste - it was a good example! Siggy kept saying that Kim D has nothing negative to her, so she doesn't feel the need to defend Teresa, so Margaret compared Kim D (evil) to Hitler (evil) and pointed out that it's the same comparison to say that Hitler wouldn't have done anything negative to Margaret...Siggy just doesn't want to deal with the fact that she's been a disloyal friend to Teresa when it comes to Kim D. I enjoyed Danielle wrecking that table - give her back her housewives title, she's earned it. It always surprises me when these apparently wealthy women have never travelled *cough* Melissa *cough*.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Melbourne was GREAT. Venus and her husband...let's be real...that title of theirs was bought and paid for. It has nothing to do with the British Peerage and Gamble took that shot at them and Venus reacted like Gamble knew she would because Venus appears to be either misinformed or lying. She is simply incorrect about the House of Lords, so I don't know why she even attempted it. Gina vs. Gamble because Gina maintains a cogent argument and maintains her sense of humour. Her crack about her look originating in 1984 was hilarious. Janet and her son are doing real good with their foundation and I can only tip my hat to her son. He has overcome a lot and has turned his tragedy into triumph. A burns injury is incredibly traumatic and he has emerged with a positive attitude. Bravo to him and bravo to Janet. Lydia and Jackie...meh, I don't care about their friendship working or not. Next week we see Chyka living it up in her 'country cottage' can't wait. It is an undeniably beautiful house from the exterior. However, I don't like the interiors - they're bland and lacking any character (which, for a house built in 1912, is a real accomplishment)...but the house is in the Valley...albeit south of Ventura, but over the mountainside from Bel-Air and Beverly Hills...it also backs onto a church's parking lot (albeit through densely wooded backyard). I feel like, with Kyle's real estate, she never quite gets it right.

BRAVO: Vanderpump Rules
I actually gasped when Jax admitted that he'd slept with Faith. I really couldn't believe it. I'm all for Tom Tom - they are so good to each other and I like the idea of their bar.
