I actually have seen some clips of Daniel Hugh Kelly in the role. He seemed to fit the part best & I think he lasted a while too. Why were there so many recasts on Ryan's Hope? Was it a creative decision?

This is a long shot but does anyone remember the one starring Danica Stewart (Jessica Bennett #3 from Passions) called Coastal Dreams? It had NBC backing I believe & aired in 2007. I've been looking all over for episodes or even clips of it.

I hope they do NOT Soras Rachel on Days. The actress is perfect in the role. Like Lauren Boles-level Ciara perfect. It would be such a loss. Let her grow up on the screen. GH - age Danny, Rocco, Aiden, Georgie. Cast them all with great, attractive actors who match Hudson West's energy. Pair Rocco/Georgie, Jake/Charlotte (who they've already made a teen actually), & Danny/Aiden. I feel like those would be the best pairings and lead to potentially good stories. Y&R - don't bother Sorasing. They don't even write for Faith & Moses.

Chance & Summer - Y&R. I don't see any chemistry with nuSkyle. I just don't, but I did see something with Chance & Summer. And Sharon & Chance would just be Sharon/Dylan all over again. We need something new & forbidden. I agree with Kevin & Daniel!!

PC before the arcs is so completely different than arc-PC. Has any thought about doing a thread focusing on just the non-arc PC years? Would there be any interest in that whatsoever? Or am I the only one who favored those years over the vampires & avatars stuff? lol

Hello, there. I'm not from the UK but I love RH. I remember seeing a little bit of it when it aired on the old cable channel Soapnet years ago, but that was about my sum total of exposure to the series until very recently when I started watching it on Youtube on a whim. It feels like a classic soap & yet it has a modern appeal to it. The creators Labine & Avila Mayer were ahead of their time. I watch a couple of episodes of RH every night now. I initially really, really did not like Faith Catlin as Faith at all, but she's grown on me & I think I'm going to miss her a bit when I get to the recast episodes. I do like Catherine Hicks though, of course. I love Delia! IK made her into one of the most unique & original soap characters there ever was IMO. It's a shame GH writers got their hands on her (during that random crossover where they made her Ava Jerome's mother) and tried to make her into a poor woman's Roxy Balsom. As if she would ever act like that! I love Bucky. A young Justin Deas. Be still my heart. He & Pat (MG) are so fun together. Maeve & Johnny are great & believable anchors for the show. The Nell actress is great. It took me a while to get into the character because she seemed so snooty at first but the actress really tugs at your heartstrings. I do not like the Frank/Jill pairing at all. I guess they are one of the show's signature couples but I just don't like Frank no matter who plays him & I see zero chemistry there lol However, I realize he is a big part of the show, of course.

Does anyone know what happened to Renee Allman (Danielle) from Port Charles? I always wondered what would have happened if the writers invested in Danielle and explored her sibling connection to GH's Katherine. Anyway, any news on Renee would be appreciated. Thank you.

I just got a membership on RetroTV to watch The Doctors & I'm liking it a lot so far. I like Rita Lakin's writing style. It's barebones but also crisp somehow. Nick seems so pompous. I actually prefer Dr. Rice over him. I gather Nick was a fan favorite but so far, I can't stand him. Will he evolve over time, or does he stay as unlikeable as he appears to be right now during the tale of knocked up Althea? Speaking of Althea, Elizabeth Hubbard is just so good. I can see a little of Lucinda in her but yet the character is different enough from her ATWT one that I don't get them confused. I really like Maggie. Bethel Leslie is in the role right now and I am going to hate to lose her in the next several months or so. Great show!

Wow those scenes posted are hella scary and every woman's worst nightmare come true. Does it seem that B&B copied the very dark setting with Brooke's rape? They both seemed to have the same atmosphere.

It makes me wonder if so many of the awesome actors of SuBe are out of work, what will become of some of the clunky Passions actors?

SuBe was brilliance. Pure brilliance in my mind. I admit to be a worshipper of all things Aaron Spelling (not romantically of course). I even love his kids and they are universally hated - well just Tori I think. The best thing about Aaron was that he was so pro-soap. Such a supporter of daytime and primetime soaps. I loved that. Man was a genuis in my mind; puts the JFPs and the Frons of the world to horrible shame. I would pay heavy coinage to get SuBe on DVD in the States. May Aaron spelling and his amazing soap SUNSET BEACH rest in peace. *sorry if I sound fangirly but this was MY show - the only soap I really got to see from the beginning besides Passions (and that's hardly worth mentioning )*

I would give anything to have seen the whole run of Loving. I thought the little I saw of it was pretty great. I have become a Noelle Beck fan since she joined ATWT so I'd love to see her stuff on Loving as Trisha.

I watch this show and LOVE IT and wasn't even alive for most of its run. I discovered it on soapnet when my insomnia got bad (it plays at 5:00 am and 5:30 for godssake) and LOVE IT. Its my favorite soap of all time besides Sunset Beach which of course could not be any more different lol
